James Madison Walker

James Walker is a maritime lawyer with 31 years experience who handles cases only against the cruise lines. James Walker is a maritime lawyer who focuses on representing passengers and crew members injured or assaulted on cruise ships.  Mr. Walker is a 1980 cum laude graduate of Duke University and a 1983 graduate of Tulane University School of Law where he pursued a maritime curriculum.  He practices maritime law with his partner, Lisa O'Neill, also a Duke University cum laude graduate and a cum laude graduate of the Univeristy of Florida School of Law. 

The firm has represented many hundreds of passengers and crew members in cases against Carnival, Celebrity, Norwegian, Princess, and Royal Caribbean cruise lines.  Mr. Walker has represented seventy-five cruise crime victims, including five passengers before the United States Congress during hearings on the issue of cruise ship crime. The firm obtained the highest multi million dollar recovery for a sexual assault victim in the history of the cruise industry.  Mr. Walker represents passengers throughout the United States and crew members around the world.
