Biography
Edward Philip Dabdoub is Managing Partner at Dabdoub Law Firm - a law firm dedicated to helping people get long-term disability benefits paid by insurance companies. Mr Dabdoub handles all aspects of disability claims on behalf of clients entitled to disability insurance benefits through private/individual or group disability insurance policies. His firm represents people with disability claims, disability appeals of denied claims, and litigation of wrongfully denied disability benefits. He also represents individuals seeking to obtain long-term care benefits and life insurance benefits.
He has experience litigating cases in both state and federal court when long-term disability benefits are denied against numerous insurance companies, including Prudential, Northwestern Mutual, UNUM, Hartford, Aetna, CIGNA, Liberty Life, Met Life, Lincoln Financial, Met Life, and more. Mr. Dabdoub also advises clients on the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 (ERISA), particularly with respect to long-term disability benefits.
Born and raised in Kingston, Jamaica, Mr. Dabdoub is one of five attorneys in his immediate family. His areas of practice include ERISA, long-term disability, long-term care, life insurance, and bad faith claims. Mr. Dabdoub graduated cum laude from the University of Miami School of Law. Prior to law school, Mr. Dabdoub earned a Masters in Business Administration, with a concentration in International Business, from Florida International University, where he graduated at the top of his class. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Miami.
