Brian Henry Kim

I interviewed and hired Brian Kim early in my illness when the company fought paying the short term disability policy. Brian continued representing me as we had similar difficulties with the LTD policy. The entire staff at BKK has been wonderful, but Brian has been outstanding. Brian Kim is a hero. I hired him when Anthem refused to pay for an out-of-network surgeon fee for a 4th revision spine fusion related surgery arising out of a broken neck from a car accident. I used my whole life savings and obtained loans from family and friends for a specialist reconstructive surg...eon fee, of which I obtained prior authorization for with Anthem. But they failed to reimburse me under my policy conditions. I went through months of difficult hours upon hours of phone calls, faxes and emails with claims supervisors within Anthem. I retained Brian Kim in April and within 2 months Anthem paid something just by Brian Kim's powerful demand letter. I love his letter, it is a hall of fame demand letter. Unfortunately, I'm still facing more surgery, and the best surgeons are not completely covered with health insurance. Brian Kim says the next step for me to file an arbitration against Anthem. I am angry that Anthem Blue Cross puts their insured through dishonesty and injustices, especially when I'm faced with needing more money for surgery and life -time type medical care. I wonder how many others like me this is happening to. Brian Kim has the keen ability to accurately access situations and promptly take action. He is also 100% committed to communication.
