David E. Yurkofskyr was recommended to us by acquaintances who spoke of them as a professional. Our company hired the office to help to obtain an H1B visa for our future employer. We received an RFE, the office prepared a reply and as a result, our petition was denied. We believe that the firm's a...pproach was extremely unprofessional, superficial, and irresponsible. I would not recommend contacting this office.

I was referred to the Law Office of David E. Yurkofsky by someone I met at the Australian Consulate in 1997. He came highly recommended. I didn't have much faith that I'd be able to work in the US as other attorneys had advised me that I would not qualify, but with David's meticulous, knowledgeable,... creative and honest work, I was granted the O-1 visa- one of the most challenging visas reserved for top-level talent. For the next 17 years, I was able to do what I love in the US thanks to David's hard work and encouragement and guidance as I built my career and continued filing and winning the prestigious O-1 visa applications. To 'win' a green card case, I had to reach the point where I could clearly prove that I was among the very very top percentile of from my country -Australia - and that I would be a benefit to the USA through my charity work with wounded warriors, fire departments and more. Eventually, when we thought I was clearly at the tippy top in my field, Mr. Yurkofsky petitioned for a green card based on "extraordinary ability" which was granted to me relatively quickly. Thanks to David, today, I am a permanent resident of the United States. I've referred several international friends to David and he helped them just as he helped me. David just doesn't put his incredibly detailed work into helping me with immigration and visas, he also puts his heart and soul into it. I still recommend him to others because I know he'll tell them the truth, not just what they want to hear as he did with me. What struck me the most was his creativity and honesty. An honest and creative New York lawyer? Yes, they do exist and I couldn't have been happier.

I used David's services twice. Once for my initial E3 visa application, and once again for my renewal. My initial application was complex because I had been previously declined. From the moment I first talked to David he put my mind at ease and helped me through the process. I found his personal t...ouch to service and assistance very helpful, as visa applications can be full of uncertainty and stress. I would definitely recommend David and his service to anyone looking to get an E3 visa.

David is a true expert at O1 visas. He did a great job with creating a great case and the paperwork. Although, he charged me a lot of money, he did make me do a bulk of the paperwork myself, such as drafting recommendation letters, and letters of invitations, etc., (totaling to about 25 letters) and ...so much more. Still, he built a great case and made it happen! Then he applied for the Green Card through him. Again he sent in the paper work very nicely and we did get a positive outcome. However, working with him became increasingly difficult. Despite constant reminders, he failed to act on applying for an EAD extension until it was too late. Luckily, we got our green card just 10 days before our EAD's expired, my wife and I would have lost our jobs. We were making almost daily trips to USCIS to request them to help us. And far from apologizing for this lapse, he wouldn't even acknowledge it or take responsibility for it. On the contrary he became extremely rude, arrogant and would routines say nasty things to us and even threaten to "resign" if we complained about anything. This repeating pattern of arrogant rude behavior followed by apologies was the last thing we needed from our attorney, who by the way, had charged us to the moon and back! Even when we got an RFE for the Greencard, he made me do all the paperwork and even failed to give us the correct instructions. I literally had to rush back to the post office and retrieve a mail which I sent in earlier, because he gave us additional instructions later after we had sent in the papers. Again, no apologies or acknowledges whatsoever, but terrible rude and arrogant behavior followed, when I questioned why he had not given us clear instructions before we sent the package. So while, he's good at building a case and sending the initial paperwork. But terrible with followup. He also charges way too much compared to the work he actually does, coz he made me do most of the work. But I would never work with him again, mainly because he does not know how to behave and can really add to the extreme stress that accompanies immigration ordeals.
