An expert at his job, but not good with follow ups, and terrible to work with

David is a true expert at O1 visas. He did a great job with creating a great case and the paperwork. Although, he charged me a lot of money, he did make me do a bulk of the paperwork myself, such as drafting recommendation letters, and letters of invitations, etc., (totaling to about 25 letters) and ...so much more. Still, he built a great case and made it happen! Then he applied for the Green Card through him. Again he sent in the paper work very nicely and we did get a positive outcome. However, working with him became increasingly difficult. Despite constant reminders, he failed to act on applying for an EAD extension until it was too late. Luckily, we got our green card just 10 days before our EAD's expired, my wife and I would have lost our jobs. We were making almost daily trips to USCIS to request them to help us. And far from apologizing for this lapse, he wouldn't even acknowledge it or take responsibility for it. On the contrary he became extremely rude, arrogant and would routines say nasty things to us and even threaten to "resign" if we complained about anything. This repeating pattern of arrogant rude behavior followed by apologies was the last thing we needed from our attorney, who by the way, had charged us to the moon and back! Even when we got an RFE for the Greencard, he made me do all the paperwork and even failed to give us the correct instructions. I literally had to rush back to the post office and retrieve a mail which I sent in earlier, because he gave us additional instructions later after we had sent in the papers. Again, no apologies or acknowledges whatsoever, but terrible rude and arrogant behavior followed, when I questioned why he had not given us clear instructions before we sent the package. So while, he's good at building a case and sending the initial paperwork. But terrible with followup. He also charges way too much compared to the work he actually does, coz he made me do most of the work. But I would never work with him again, mainly because he does not know how to behave and can really add to the extreme stress that accompanies immigration ordeals.

The above person obtained an O-1 and the the most difficult case to win--- the extraordinary ability green card and recommended us to another musician for whom we also won the extraordinary green card! I am truly very proud and fortunate to be able to maintain a superb record of achievement---and extremely high record of approvals for all all O-1 and Eb1 extraordinary ability cases. O-1 and Eb1 clients MUST participate in the process--if they are not winners of an academy award, a grammy or similar. Winning these cases is becoming more and more difficult and more and more time consuming for everyone as USCIS is becoming tougher and tougher. We work meticulously with our clients and we advise them from the get-go that if they choose to go forward with an extraordinary ability O-1 visa or Eb1 green card-proving they are at the VERY very top of their field and a substantial benefit to the USA--- there is going to be a lot of work involved for both themselves and for me and my team. We stand by the result we obtained and we stand by our record. This person, obtained wins on all counts and we did our best from start to finish!

Look elsewhere

DON'T DO IT. I decided to contact David Yurkofsky over an E3 issue that I was having. At first he was very responsive, friendly, and receptive to my needs, but as time went on and as soon as I made a payment, David was unhelpful and expected me to do most of my own paperwork (what am I paying you tho...usands of dollars for again??). He wouldn't help me set up anything with my business and when I had questions about the visa process his main response was to "google it". He certainly acts like his time is more valuable than yours and when you ask him to answer questions, he is never direct. He eventually did the forms for me, but made several errors which I had to correct him on. Whenever we spoke on the phone, he would reveal personal information about other clients he was working with and his personal life which I found very disturbing and unnecessary. All in all, getting the actual visa was fine, but working with David was an expensive headache that I'm not having again. I would recommend trying elsewhere.

We are proud of our superb record on E3 visas and that's why we are so highly sought after. My office always does all the e-3 paperwork for our clients with a very fast turn around as long as client is truthful and doesn't disappear for a few months and then reappear and so forth. We have all met people (friends, clients, family members) who have "emotional issues" in their lives and no matter how hard you work and how successful you are, they find a way to complain. The beautiful thing about E-3 is that there are no forms to fill out for USCIS as we send our clients directly to the US Consulate to streamline the process.
