Biography
I have been a practicing attorney in South Florida ever since graduating from American University Washington College of Law. My first 6 years were spent at the Miami-Dade Public Defender’s Office. I've tried over 50 felony jury trials, taken over 1000 depositions, and dozens of juvenile trials. I have extensive experience successfully trying cases ranging from traffic related misdemeanors to first degree murder. Additionally, I have successfully argued motions to suppress, “Stand Your Ground”, motions for new trials, and for judgment of acquittal and defended clients in pre-trial detention and probation violation hearings.
Making sure you are represented by the most experienced and competent attorney in whatever type of case you may have is essential. I emphasize to all my clients that though I am their attorney, we work together as a team. You will always know exactly what is going on with your case, decisions are made together after careful & informed discussions, and I am always available to answer any questions you have. I answer my phone when you call. I am in court with you for every court date – I will not pass you off to someone else who may not know everything about you and your case.
