Price
Here, on the website is written a free consultation, but when you call, they will send you a form to fill out and you need to pay 125$ to just submit the form.
To whom it may concern: We apologize if you came across wording on our website that indicated we provided free consultations. We changed our policy about 3 months ago and we now charge a fee of $125.00 for a consultation. If you can take a screen shot of where you saw the free consultation on our website, we will honor it. Thank you for the feedback, although these ratings are to advise others of our legal work.

Do not go to Goldstein
I called to schedule Pozo whom I knew from prior case with exellent results. Today when I went in I was greeted by Goldstein (IDK why) but the guy was uninterested, overpriced and careless to the point of not even asking the specs of the case. Came across as money seeking and nothing else. He came i...
Dear Anonymous: I will do my best to address your issues although it would have helped for you to identify yourself so I could check our records of your visit. Because your feedback is anonymous, I can only respond in general. Every client consultation I conduct, which are always free of consultation fees, is detailed where I learn the complexities of a prospective client's case and provide the client with a plan going forward if something can be done to help. Of course, there are some instances where we cannot assist a prospective client or the better option for the client is to do nothing. I mention the cost of legal services when the prospective client asks or at the end of the free consultation. You were scheduled with me because Ms. Pozo had an urgent matter and was out of town for at least a week. Our record in helping clients with their immigration matters speaks for itself and one only has to look at the other AVVO reviews as evidence that we are one of the premier immigration law firms. We pride ourselves on the work performed and our customer service. Your description of the free consultation you had with me is not accurate. If for some reason, your perception of the consultation was as you describe, then I am sorry you perceived things the way you did. All the best to you. -- Steve Goldstein P.S.I do, however, appreciate that you approve of our office improvements.

Stole my money
I was referred by his review which they seem to be accurate but I have the worse experienced with him. First appointment charge me $2500 for just getting my record and gave me hope as we spoke first time then 2 or 3 month after I got a phone call from another lawyer from his office asking me about my...
Joel, I reviewed your file and it appears that we were able to retrieve your records as promised. As you know, your case is complex. I've sent you an email at your last known email address so that we can discuss this matter. I too am disappointed that you feel you did not receive excellent customer service because that is what we strive for every day. I am willing to discuss your case with you further if you like. You can reach me directly at [email protected].

Worse experience -- do not recommend this attorney or law firm
I flew to Miami after booking an appointment with this attorney and alerting their office that I would have to be on a 3 hour flight to personally meet the attorney. I phoned to reconfirm and got on a flight to meet Steven A. Goldstein. On the day of the appointment, I received a call to change ...
Our firm sincerely apologizes for your experience. At Pozo Goldstein, LLP, we strive to provide excellent customer service. In this case, the day's schedule did not pan out the way we planned which necessitated an adjustment to our appointments for the day. As you can see by our other reviews on AVVO, we consistently receive positive reviews for the work on behalf of our clients. That said, it does not alleviate your concerns. I am willing to personally speak with you by telephone and, if appropriate, schedule an appointment for you either in our Miami or New York office. You can reach me at [email protected].
