I can't say enough about Mario. I have been fighting a high conflict post divorce Domestic Violence against a minor child case. Mario is the epitome of professionalism, knowledge and caring. He must never sleep because he answers any question at all hours. I always knew our plan, never once did I que...stion what he did. He literally saved my child's life! I recommend him to anyone in a situation where you've exhausted all options and have no hope-he IS the hope, the answer, the attorney you need. He is so kind, understanding and extremely well versed, yet so humble. I would need 5 pages to describe my wonderful experience as his client. I've been fighting for my daughter's safety for 10 years. I've paid 3 times as much for a high profile lawyer, I tried representing myself (do not!) I will praise him for the rest of my life. I would even talk to anyone still unsure if he is right for you-he is. I put my daughter's life in his hands and as a mom there is nothing more important. I will use Mario for anything and everything I need. On a scale of 1-10 I rate him a 20plus! Stop searching! He is the attorney you need!

I retained Mario Theodore in 2013 for a child custody battle I was dealing with regarding (at the time) my two year old son. I took the legal route because my son's mother was heavily influenced by her mother who was actually a paralegal for a Family Law firm for the last 10 years and they agreed to ...represent her pro bono. I was flat out told by her very vindictive mother that they would bury me in court and exhaust my funds if I continued retaining a lawyer. They did this to purposely try and get me to fall victim to the court system due to my lack of knowledge in family law and I almost did. From the day I retained Mario I had several things already against me. My son's mother filed a frivolous retraining order against me and got a protection order for my son because she claimed I went to her residence intoxicated and forcibly grabbed her and knocked over my son in the process. That never happened but she did that to gain leverage in court (to which she later admitted was her mother's suggestion and doing once the case was over). This protection order prevented me for seeing my son for 17 days which caused so much pain you wouldn't believe. To get to the point of my review of Mario, he was a phenomenal lawyer. I would recommend him and actually have been recommending him to everyone and anyone who could use his services. He's literally a pitbull in a suit. I must have seen 4 or 5 lawyers prior to selecting him but from the moment I met him, I just knew he was the one and you'll get that same feeling after meeting him. He not only lifted the nonsense protection order against me on my son but he immediately got me temporary shared custody until we went to trial all within the first 17 days of me retaining him. Like I said, he's a pitbull in a suit. The case continued on for another 13 months but that again was my son's grandmother's doing on his mother's side. She was purposely prolonging the case by not providing responses in a timely fashion, having their attorney file countless extensions and made sure Mediation was a complete waste of time all in an effort to exhaust my funds by continuing to retain Mario. Of course enough was enough and Mario put a stop to it by getting direct access to the attorney representing my son's mother and reasoned with him. Although Mario is an animal while dealing with the courts, he's an extremely likeable guy. Him reasoning with the other attorney didn't take long once he put his foot down. Within a matter of days, everything was finalized. I went from having a domestic violence case/restraining order, my son taken away from me with an active protection order and me looking like a "horrible father and drunk" in the eyes of the court to getting primary custody of my son. Mario exposed everything. There were no grounds for a protection order and no evidence of any abuse. With Mario's advice, I was able to capture video of the torment, threats and verbal abuse from my son's grandmother during the pick ups/ drop offs throughout the entire hearing. I was awarded 4 set days scattered throughout the week and weekend (every week) and I was even awarded child support from my son's mother but later declined it to keep peace among us. I know this is a long review but I felt compelled to write it. The reviews I read of Mario prior to retaining him all seemed to be one or two paragraphs about how good he was but it's still a far cry of who he is as an attorney and as a human being. I kid you not, retaining Mario was the best decision I ever made. I hope you take my review seriously because trust me, you won't regret retaining him if you do.
