He made a huge difference in my life

Ed Martínez took his time to explain to me details of a document I received from the government through a different attorney who completely misguided and lied to me. It was his influence that encouraged me to fight back and ended up in a life changing outcome.

Great lawyer

Great lawyer.. I had a legal issue this year. Most of the lawyers I spoke kept giving me the run around. Not only was Ed able to get me a better deal, he fought for me until the end. There is a reason they call him “the bull A great professional, friendly lawyer that will fight for his clients. Thank... you so much!

Great Lawyer

From the minute i hired Ed he was ontop of my case. Within a weeks i had money that was taken returned to me and before i knew it had my case dropped. He made sure my record stayed clean, I would recommend him anyday of the week.

"I came to know Mr. Martinez through his very informative podcast where he explains law in an entertaining fashion. As a lawyer, I can say I’ve learned from him, and that’s what our profession is really supposed to be about (though it’s become more dog-eat-dog). I endorse Mr. Martinez because I know he is a knowledgeable, trustworthy attorney who provides vigorous representation for his clients."

"I met Ed about 20 years ago when he was a newly specially assigned Assistant State Attorney in the Miami-Dade County SAO's Narcotics Division. I had a complex trafficking case with an even more difficult prosecutor (Ed's predecessor) and when Ed took over it was obvious that the State's focus went from "convict" to "be fair and do justice". Fast forward 20 (or so) years and as a defense lawyer Ed remains equally committed to his inherent values of fairness and justice. Ed's experience as a prosecutor (in both the Narcotics and the coveted Economic Crimes Unit) gives him a clear advantage in the defense arena (and his "connections" surely inure to his client's benefit). I am proud to cohost a weekly podcast with Ed ("At Your Service with Haber and Martinez", airing live on Facebook most Monday afternoons) and am elated that he's donating his time and expertise here on AVVO."
