I knew of Rachel because she helped my brother with his custody issues over a decade ago. I know she got very good results for him at a reasonable cost. So I recently contacted her to help my nephews with custody and other issues. She exceeded my expectations in EVERY way at a very reasonable cost..., and in a much quicker than expected time frame. I couldn't have asked for better results at any cost.

I was gun shy about hiring any attorney based off of the nightmares I have witnessed friends go through. My divorce was pretty much cut and dry from a financial aspect, the ONLY thing I cared about was CUSTODY. Rachel came recommended to me from a friend and from the moment I met her I knew she was a... perfect fit for me. Rachel was frank, told me things I didn't want to hear and prepared me for the absolute worst, yet gave me the best possible outcome. She always remained courteous and professional to the opposing side, her demeanor simply commands respect. On a personal level I honestly felt she CARED about my kids. My case was unique because there was a lot of details that needed to be presented and heard to fully understand the situation. It is difficult to get that attention to detail out of any attorney, but Rachel made it her mission to ensure my concerns were voiced. I have read some other reviews on here where people say she is unresponsive. At one point in the beginning I thought that, now realizing there is a method to her work. Rachel is not looking to rack up a clients bill with meaningless communication, she takes things step by step, and when it comes down to a clients day in court....that client has 1000% of her attention. I can't count the HOURS of phone conversations from 5am before a hearing, to 9pm on a Sunday night she spent preparing me for court, nailing down details. In a hearing she brought up details I mentioned in off-the-cuff comments during conversation with her 6months prior. At the end of my hearing my judge even commented about how well Mrs. Bachand presented her case.This attorney has an AMAZING ability to cut through the nonsense, present the facts and make your voice heard. She does not sugar coat anything, and becomes personally invested to make sure the children's best interests are met. Her office staff is also amazing and responsive, they have gone above and beyond. It is clearly evident what a true team they are. Divorce is an scary and ugly process, once you hire this attorney you can rest assured you are on the path to peace. SHE WILL GET IT DONE.

I had a friend refer me to Bachand & Bachand for help with my legal matters. I hired Rachel for my very complicated divorce. I knew my case was not an easy one. From the moment we sat down for my consultation to the very end - She was always very informative. I knew from day one, I had the right ...person on my side! We had properties, minor children & both have businesses we run. Rachel and her staff were always very compassionate & understanding. Everyone was always kind, even when I called or emailed frustrated with my X. Rachel is very knowledgeable and I would definitely recommend her to anyone who needs a Family Law attorney.

Mrs. Bachand was highly recommended to me from my prior attorney who had moved out of state. At first Mrs Bachand seemed like she would be a great replacement for our case involving a simple parenting plan. This was 2 years ago and we still do not have an appropriate parenting plan in place, causing ...issues between the parents. She did not answer questions in a timely manner and most of the time received emails from her paralegal regarding law issues. I felt she did not keep me informed regarding the process and updates in the case. I do not feel that she has represented my case properly. This same issue is happening with a friend's case. Mrs. Bachand is not responsive to that person's phone calls/emails in a decent time frame, taking more than 3 days in order to speak with her regarding pressing issues. I am not happy with the representation of this lawyer. She may be knowledgeable regarding the law but keeping clients informed and responding to their questions should also be an important part of practice.
