I received a contract drafted from a lawyer in another state. Mr. Payne did a great job understanding the intent of the contract, made corrections, and revised the contract considerably to eradicate all inconsistencies and terms that were to my disadvantage. Over the years I have had numerous issues that required an attorney. I have had numerous attorney's handle those different case, many with negative results and In my opinion, more often those results were due to either the ineptness or lack of true concern for my welfare, the client who was paying the bill. Just negotiate it out or settle, that's good enough. Another thing I have learned in dealing with attorneys is that they will require payment whether they win or lose, so many have no real interest in the outcome, nor do they service the case from the clients view point or needs.
