Shawn Reid is an amazing lawyer. He was fairly priced and did not nickle and dime me like some lawyers try to do. He was ethical in his tactics. He covered all the bases I needed him to do. He was extremely thorough and did not leave any details out. He made the process seamless and as painless as po...ssible.

Mr Reid has not only once but twice represented me in my divorce. He is a very knowledgeable effective lawyer. Once he gets your details he does not hesitate to get the job done. Divorce can be a very difficult time. Mr. Reid takes you through the process with professsionism and care. I would highly ...recommend him.

I am reposting this review, because Avvo initially approved this and then took it down, so I will try to adhere to the review guidelines. Please note that the initial review was dated from July 2014. Mr. Reid did not do a good job representing us. He told us things that were not true. For example, he... stated that we, the grandparents of the child, could gain custody of the child, over the biological parents. After we paid for Mr. Reid's services and went to court the judge immediately dismissed the case. Also Mr. Reid refused to return any of our phone calls (far less for our money). Therefore, for his lack of knowledge and questionable work ethics, I cannot recommend Mr. Reid to anyone.

Shawn Reid is a superb, smart and effective attorney. he represented me during a very tough drawn out divorce and provided me the best and reasonable advice that in turn I was able to reflect upon when making the critical decision that turn out to be the best for me overall.
