Walter graduated from Florida State University College of Law, cum laude. While in law school he was a member of the Journal of Transnational Law and Policy, received certificates in Legal Research, International Law, and Pro Bono Service. In the last summer of law school, Walter worked for the State Department in San Jose, Costa Rica as a member of the the International Narcotics and Legal Team in the Bureau of Western Hemisphere Affairs.

Walter has private sector legal experience working as a case coordinator for Hughes Hubbard & Reed LLP in New York City for over four years. His focus was on litigation and white collar crime, where he gained extensive experience working on numerous trials across the east coast and the Midwest.

Walter also worked on Capitol Hill for the late Senator Edward Kennedy where he worked on the Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions (HELP) committee.

Walter relocated to Orlando, Florida and volunteers his time on pro bono cases with Community Legal Services of Mid Florida and received the Guardian of Justice Award in 2014 and 2015. Walter is one of the inaugural attorneys to work the self-help center at the Orange County Court House to assist under represented clients. After Moving to Central Florida, Walter has been actively working on Immigration matters and has successfully handled many cases before the Immigration Court, the Board of Immigration Appeals, and USCIS. Walter is co-chair of the Orange County Bar Association Immigration and Nationality Committee and is a board member for the Orlando Center for Justice, a non-profit law firm that provides legal services in the field of immigration and family law. Walter is an active speaker and gives presentations through the Orange County Bar Association. Walter has been named to Super Lawyers Rising Stars for 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022.

Excellent attorney

Best Lawyer you could find!!

Excellent Divorce Attorney

Walter had helped me with my divorce this year. It was a smooth transaction but Walter was available to answer any questions I had and very prompt at his responses. He is also very approachable via text, email or call, which made my experience much easier in the tough times. Walter not only guided me through the divorce but also helped me with any questions with regards to selling property, property taxes, etc. Through out many conversations we had, it was a friendly discussion which made it much easier to communicate. If I ever need another advise/hire a lawyer he would be the person I would reach out to.

Walter Stratton is an excellent lawyer and a great human being

We cannot say enough good things regarding our experience of having Walter as our immigration lawyer. He is very professional, amicable and genuinely cares about his clients well being. In our meetings with Walter everything he prepared us for we were asked in our immigration interview. He was very responsive when we asked questions and when the good news was received that there was an adjustment of status and the green card was being processed he let us know immediately. We will definitely use Walter again for citizenship and recommend him to anyone who is in need of a good immigration attorney.

GREAT ATTORNEY

Walter helped us evict our tenant in amazing time! Highly recommend, answered all of our questions and kept us informed at every step. We hope not to have to go thru the process again but I would hire him in a minute if we did. So glad we had him in our corner.

Walter Stratton Bagg handled a condominium issue with me and proved to be knowledgeable, sensitive to my issue, and a competent attorney. Condominium issues are usually difficult, and Walter took the matter in hand and helped me deal with the issue without getting into long and involved legal fees. Highly Recommend

Traffic Infraction/ Civil Citation -- received excellent help from Mr Bagg in dismissing the case

Couple months back I hit a bicyclist. I had the right of way on the one-way street, the person just blindly cut across the road. Cops and paramedics took about just about 5 minutes to arrive. When cops showed up, he lied to the cops stating he was on pedestrian path. I was in shock and just waited for cop to arrive. The cop took the bicyclist word and handed me a citation stating I had to yield with citation indicating bodily injury to bicyclist. This is when I reached out the Mr Walter Bagg. Mr Bagg evaluated the situation. Since the street is a busy street, per Mr Bagg's guidance, the next day I visited domino's pizza delivery / kitchen staff to check if someone would have seen the accident that occurred prior day approximately same time . To my luck, domino's delivery lady had seen what happened and said clearly the bicyclist lied to the cops and I had the right of way and also the bicyclist was intoxicated. Mr Walter Bagg immediately got on the my case. Mr Bagg talked with the first hand witness and subpoenaed the witness. The traffic court date was set. The judge dismissed the case in our favor and my traffic infraction case was dismissed. During this time I wasn't aware, but the bicyclist was pursuing civil citation against GEICO insurance wherein they contacted me stating Medical/ Chiropractor bill's were over my PIP. This is where again I reached out to Mr Walter Bagg, Mr Bagg representing me, discussed the case with GEICO insurance. Mr Bagg assured that I have nothing to worry, GEICO insurance / Civil citation will not be getting to my personal assets. I have not heard back from GEICO nor bicyclist law firm since. I sincerely thank Mr Walter Bagg for helping me with this case. Mr Bagg is highly detail oriented, smart, diligent and Mr Bagg patience as virtue is very comforting and helpful through the process. I highly recommend Mr Walter Bagg

Excellent Attorney

Walter drafted my will, childrens trust, power of attorney, living will, and healthcare surrogate. He explained the complicated legal materials and made it very easy for me to understand.
