Don, a graduate of Vanderbilt Law School in 2007, started his career with a mid-size firm in Orlando. Arriving in Orlando and starting out his law career has been a blessing for Don and his family.
In 2008, using his entrepreneurial spirit, Don ventured out with another attorney to begin learning the community association law practice from the ground up. A year later, looking for more in his career path, Don joined an established community association law firm where he helped to significantly expand the business based on his past relationships. In 2013, armed with a portfolio of satisfied clients built over the years, Don felt the time was right to establish DHN Attorneys.
Don relates this success primarily to his persistence in reaching out directly to community association managers and fostering personal connections which has then led to new client relationships. This persistent hard work, whether setting up the entire infrastructure of a volume practice or personally sending statutory letters by certified mail, is the same work ethic Don will bring to you or your company. The positive responses received from professionals in the community association industry are, in large part, the reason for the growth in his business. Effective communication with a diverse clientele with competing interests, as may happen with board members, is vital. Don’s ability to communicate well with people and his genuine and honest connection with his clients has been a hallmark of his personal style that is refreshing in the business world of today. Don appreciates his long-term relationships with his clients, communicates clearly, and maps out alternatives for his clients in an honest, forthright way.
Since the early days of 2008-2013, seeing how other firms work, Don realized the importance of using technology to create a paperless office and deliver greater efficiencies to his clients. The use of technology to gain an advantage resonates with many of the younger entrepreneurs Don works with who have opened restaurants, expanded a growing medical practice, invested in real estate, or started a variety of other businesses. Many of his entrepreneurial clients, like him, are first or second generation immigrants, and he is uniquely positioned to offer guidance and advice based on his own first-hand experience..
Don’s strengths are his communication skills, honesty, positivity, accessibility and trustworthiness. Being a team player is important to Don demonstrated by his philosophy to make team building in the office and with his clients a priority.

Known & used on multiple occasions. Awesome communication. Amazing legal mind & spot on problem solving. Don is one of the few Atty's who I would use to keep me out of suit & to go Court with. Typically those areas dictate different Attys. He's has the skills to & mind to be a pitbull. Yet he has to ...

Having been in the insurance industry for many years, I have had professional interaction with different attorneys on both sides of a claim. Until I had met Mr. Nguyen, my prior experience had led me to conclude that all attorneys were more concerned about prolonging disputes rather than finding reso...

Mr. Nguyen gave me legal advice regarding a home owners association issue I was having. He kept me informed, answered my questions and was knowledgable. I also found he was easy to talk to and was not patronizing like I have found some lawyers to be. He helped put the legalese into words that I co...
"I endorse this lawyer. Mr. Nguyen is extremely professional. I found him to be a pleasure to deal with when communicating on real estate deals. I highly recommend."
"Mr. Nguyen is one of the best lawyers I have ever come into contact with in my 18 years of practice. Not only is he insightful and experienced, but he has an incredible ability to perceive the potential issues associated with a matter and immediately address them to avoid the potential for issues down the line. Also, he is an individual with a solid moral compass and a man who values family and community. I could not recommend him more strongly. If I was looking for counsel in the real estate context I would look first to Mr. Nguyen."
"Don Nguyen's real estate experience includes specialty areas, including homeowners associations, mortgage lien litigation, and title disputes/closings. He truly is a go-to guy in real estate matters."
"Mr. Nguyen provides great customer service and promptly returns client phone calls. He certainly knows the ins and outs of Real Estate law and is no stranger to the courtroom. I endorse this lawyer."
"Mr. Nguyen and I were opposing counsel on a civil suit in Orange County, Florida. I found that he was pleasant to work with, very knowledgeable about his area of practice, and strongly advocated for his client's rights. His professionalism and courtesy as an attorney is admirable. I highly recommend him as an attorney."
"I have known Don for 3 years. He is a professional attorney who is extremely knowledgeable in his field. I endorse his work."
