Excellent attorney

Ms Johnson is an extraordinary attorney. She is very dedicated and seeks to understand every detail of the case. My case was complex and Ms Johnson was extremely knowledgeable and experienced, handling every situation with insight and assertiveness. That made me feel secure and comfortable throughout... the divorce process. And most importantly, Ms Johnson honestly cares about her clients and she is a relentless fighter. She always listened to me and she looked out for my best interests and kept fighting to achieve them until the very end. Debra is a kind-hearted person and I am very grateful our paths crossed and I had the opportunity to have had her as my attorney. I definitely recommend her.

Fantastic Lawyer

Debra did an amazing job representing me in my cases. She helped in my divorce and injunction cases. She listened to my concerns, was an expert in the legal process, and did not hesitate to help fight for my case. Debra understood the facts of my cases and how to address the concerns I had regarding ...the possible outcomes of the cases. She was with me every step of the way and fought for me when the time came. I am so thankful I hired Debra. She is a bulldog in the courtroom and you can trust her to handle your case with determination and expertise.

Do not hesitate. Call Debra Now. It was the best decision I ever made. I will be forever greatful to Debra and her staff.

To all my friends and family of the LGBTQ Community, as well as all my family in the world, I would highly recommend Debra, for all your needs. I was in a dark hole for years, and Debra has now made it possible for me to finally, see the light. My gay marriage has now come to an end. Debra fought for... me like no one in the world has ever done. As gay divorce is new, in the justice system, I was in great fear of what my outcome would be. From day 1, Debra assured me, I will do good. I believed her from the very beginning. But still, I wondered for 6 months, how this would all turn out. Turning to other devices, to calm my nerves, throughout the whole procedure. The day came for Mediation. I told Debra, I will not mediate any more than 2 hours. She said, it may take about 3. It wound up taking 7, and I was mentally exhausted after we hung up at 5 pm. I went to bed at 7 p.m, which is unheard of in my book. Debra got me everything I wanted, and more. Alimony, was left as one of the last procedures. I was offered, after 25 years together, and six and a half years married, $2000.00 a month, for 3 months. I laughed, of course, and said , no way, but as I mentioned earlier, I was mentally exhausted, and I told Debra, I will accept a year of Alimony, just need that, to get back on my feet. Debra, in a professional way, ( as she knew how to handle me, by this time) ask me, just to relax, sit quiet, and give her some time. And that is what I did. She worked diligently, throughout my whole 7 hour Mediation session. She never gave up. But, I did, when I said I would accept one year Alimony. My final outcome, was 3 years Alimony. Not 3 months. I can not thank Debra, and her entire team, as well as Kristopher Donegan, Senior Litigation Paralegal, who fought for me, just as hard. I am so proud of Debra's entire team. Thanks to Debra, I now have peace of mind, and came out of my dark hole, and I am living life to the fullest once again. I as a spiritual person, do not believe in chance encounters. I believe Debra and I were brought together, for a reason. I am still trying to figure that out, and I will some day. I now consider Debra, not only my attorney, but one of my best friends, that I will cherish, for the rest of my life. I no longer have to worry about retirement, at the age of 57, Debra made sure I was taken care of for retirement, and now, that is the greatest burden, that was lifted off of my shoulders. I now have a beautiful retirement account, that will last me, until the day I die. My life, was exactly like Elizabeth Gilbert, author of eat, pray, love. I first saw Elizabeth, on the Oprah Winfrey show, over 15 years ago. I read her book, as soon as it came out, then, years later, the movie came out. Debra did not know it, but, I wore my 108 Mala Bead Prayer Meditation Necklace, underneath my shirt, the whole day. Every time we had a break, and there were a few, I would walk away, touch my necklace, and pray, pray some more, and pray some more. Then, back to mediation. Now, I plan to do what Elizabeth did. I am going to go on the same journey, she went on. And, I can only go on this journey, because Debra fought for me, like there was no tomorrow. And at that point, there was no tomorrow. Debra, as stated earlier, I can never thank you enough, for fighting for me, the way you did. Watch out for the Irish ladies, is all I can say. There is a little bit of Tiger in them, I am sure. If anyone else is going through what I went through, please, do not hesitate. Call Debra immediately. And if you hire her, never look back, only look forward, and forward, for the rest of your life. I joked with Debra, and told her, to tell her husband to watch out, I was coming for her, we both had a good laugh, and, we needed all the laughter we could receive, during this entire process. At the end of the day, I can smile now, which is something I have not been able to do in years. I can love more, which is not something I have been able to do in years.

Amazing experience

Debra Johnson took charge and her grit and determination was incredible. Dealing with a sketchy ex husband with a history of abuse and intimidation towards me, Debra took charge. She had the guts to stand up to his attorney and I felt so completely confident the entire time, I cannot say enough good ...things about her! If you need someone to have your back.... Debra Johnson is the one!

Hire Debra Johnson-EXCELLENT Attorney

There is not enough good to say about Debra Johnson. Debra keeps you apprised of what's going on behind the scenes from the beginning, and from the beginning she was taking action, with school staff, with opposing counsel-in every way she was fighting for justice for my son. Debra is an incredi...bly kind-hearted, sincere and sweet woman, however she is very aggressive when she needs to be, and I had the distinct pleasure of sitting with her in her office and watching her work. In my case, I have an ex who is unwilling to work with me, and an attorney who reflects that intent. Debra took an aggressive stance with opposing counsel, and while it was a pleasure to watch, it had to be incredibly uncomfortable for the other attorney who knew fully that he was defending the indefensible; a vindictive, malicious mother, who is attempting to alienate our child and exclude him from my life, as well as my involvement in his. Debra skillfully adopted a position of superiority early in the conversation with presumptive statements such as "when is the child being dropped off" not passive inquisitive statements such as "will the mother allow the child to be picked up?" This may seem subtle, but she was, in a word-dominant. This kind of representation is exactly what my child needs in the courtroom to preserve his interests and my own, for the sake of our relationship, which has suffered greatly through the years as no fault of his own or my own. I am genuinely thankful to have an attorney who, save for the first attorney I hired, is not bumbling along, but has a clear-cut goal of ensuring the relationship continues, his rights and my own are observed and honored, and she demonstrates a refusal to engage any level of chicanery or be the recipient of condescension. My prior attorney was passive, and afraid of "ticking off" the mother for fear she would not be agreeable in mediation. Now, attorney Johnson is presenting a methodically polished case to the court that shows no lack of preparatory work that is immutably superior to the lies of a very vindictive and malicious ex spouse. I'll run out of words before I can say all that I would like, but I can say this-Debra does not have an office that is museum-level orderly-that is a lawyer interested in show. Debra has her most important papers organized, her books in order, a few pieces of lint on the carpet-this tells the the intelligent observer that she is FOCUSED on what is most important to her-and that is YOUR CHILD and their interests, and the interests of justice. Her office door is covered from top to bottom with photos of the children she represents. When she hears of harm being done to children, she becomes visibly angry. Her ability translate this into productive action is remarkable. If your child has been done wrong, and if you are subject to abuses by the other parent, I pity the person who opposes attorney Johnson. Debra has in every regard, wisdom and restraint, and applies this in just the right measure, and it shows. I wish I would have found her sooner; she takes all her cases personally, is genuinely investing herself and does not speak a single dishonest or misleading word. She is focused, aggressive, and in each instance of malfeasance by the opposing party, she will not respect it, but she doesn't let that show in her work-she finds the way to appropriately deal with it in a way that leaves the opposition fumbling and without a position of strength. HIRE HER-you will not regret it.
