Without going into all the details, I had hired a different attorney that was not good at their profession at all. After spending thousands of dollars, I was referred to Debra Johnson. Not only was she professional, but she was also great at educating me on the divorce laws in the state of Florida. I hired Ms. Debra Johnson in the middle of my child custody case after having to fire my previous attorney for Multiple reasons. Switching attorneys was a very scary process for me because I wasn’t sure how I was going to be able to do it being a low income single mom, but I thank God that I did! My ...previous attorney that I had for the first year failed to provide all necessary documentation for Ms. Johnson to get caught up to speed on my case but that did not stop her. My child’s father had supervised visitations throughout this whole process for numerous reasons and each time he and his attorney filed to get unsupervised visitations, she did everything to make sure it got denied. After two years I was finally awarded sole custody and ultimate decision making which others in the beginning told me would be nearly impossible to get, but Ms. Johnson helped make the “impossible” happen. She did everything in her power to help me protect my daughter and I could never thank her enough for that!!!
