Terry Timothy's secretary, Ivy, warmly welcomes me on January 6, 2024, and exudes a compassionate demeanor when signing me in. However, as time progresses, I discover a shift in attitude, prompting me to reach out to the secretary to determine the whereabouts of my attorney. Despite my initial willin...gness to assist, the secretary eventually advised me to seek another lawyer and recommended a colleague with similar responsibilities. Terry Timothy, my designated attorney, appears unresponsive and provides little information about the course of action or updates on my case. Terry Timothy, with his secretary, tried to give me a document to review and sign, which would benefit not me but my spouse. He makes an appointment in his office, doing nothingness, then charges me money. Attempts to reach him prove challenging, fostering a sense of frustration. The overall experience leaves me with the unsettling feeling that the secretary and lawyer may be involved in questionable practices.

I hired Tim for a Civil Injunction case against me where I had given him enough Evidence which he did not submit before the case and also he did not prepare with me before the case with me and had asked me if the witnesses can come the very night before the case. Poor communication skills as well. He...’s had multiple complaints as of July that I see as well. I used him because he was recommended to me by word of mouth only to realize later he’s had a few reprimands and he’s also been reported to the Bar Association as well, which I will be filing a formal complaint as well. After the review of another lawyer that I had to check audio in my case he didn’t object when he should’ve and I really his performance was lass than Average. Very Poor Performance and I wouldn't recommend him to my worse enemy. I’m not just upset because the outcome wasn’t favorable, but he had plants my evidence to use to his advantage which he failed to do and also he didn’t submit the evidence he had when he was supposed to and he didn’t cross exe well to challenge or object when he should have leading to my case even being in Appealable. I do not recommend him to anyone at all.

I hired Tim to represent me in a paternity case. He took the flat fee and barely did any work. He never called me to give me updates on the case, I constantly had to call him to get anything done. He never answers his phone or returns your calls or emails. He puts no effort into your case. He did not... file the necessary legal documents he should have on my behalf. We had an emergency hearing and he didn’t even represent me. He made me do all the talking and never cross examined the other party..he just sat there. I found 8 disciplinary reports against him with the Florida bar and I’m sure there are more. (google it and see for yourself) it’s a shame he’s still practicing law and doing the same stuff to innocent people just trying to get help with their legal matters. DO NOT HIRE HIM!! It will be a waste of your time and money.

I'm delighted to announce my divorce is finalized! Unfortunately, Tim, my initial lawyer, hindered progress. Despite his involvement, my divorce dissolution case stagnated for months with no updates. I urged Tim to contact me via phone, email or text to expedite the process and demonstrate tangible p...rogress. His inaction was frustratingly slow. Consequently, I terminated his services and hired a new lawyer, who efficiently finalized my divorce within a year.
