Biography
Board Certified Specialist Jonathan Simon is a proud three-time graduate of the University of Florida, having earned his degrees in International Economics, International Business and Law in just six years. After graduation, Jonathan worked in various fields of law before fulfilling his dream of opening his own law practice.
In 2009, Jonathan ventured out on his own and opened The Orlando Family Firm which would provide a great atmosphere for both clients and fellow attorneys. For nine years, Jonathan’s dedication took The Orlando Family Firm to new heights, and in 2017 was recognized by U.S. News and World Report as a First Tier Best Law Firm in Florida.
After a major office expansion in 2017 and development of other practice areas, the Orlando Family Firm became Orlando Legal, a full-service law firm handling unique state and federal practices areas including alternative dispute resolution and mediation.
Jonathan has received numerous awards and recognitions, including achieving a perfect 10 out of 10 ranking on AVVO, along with over 100 5-star client reviews. Since 2013, Jonathan has also been named a Superlawyers Rising Star each year. This distinction is only awarded to the top 2.5% of attorneys under the age of 35 in Florida. In 2017, Jonathan was one of only five lawyers to become Board Certified in Marital and Family law in 2017 out of a total of 56 candidates for the year.

Jonathan is also a Board Member of Nike South Beach, a youth basketball team which focuses on ensuring scholarships and educational benefits for its players.
