Formal Complaint Regarding Gross Misconduct and Professional Negligence by Mr. Bigney's Firm I am submitting a formal complaint regarding the egregious professional misconduct and negligence exhibited by Mr. Bigney and his firm in their purported representation of my legal interests. Mr. Bigney... and his firm utterly failed to negotiate on my behalf. This ia factual statement because Mr. Bigney and his staff have not provided any proof of any negotiations that took place or proof of any communication directly with anyone who would be involved with my case. This is a factual statement unless the Bigney Law Firm has new material to prove otherwise. This fundamental dereliction of duty is compounded by their inability or refusal to produce any documentation – emails or otherwise – substantiating negotiations on my case, and a withdrawal that occurred without any notification to me, their client. The outcome of my case was not merely unfavorable; it was demonstrably worse than the initial written offer extended by the State's Attorney's Office. This is a factual statement as I have incurred undue costs, contract losses and more. My subsequent request for a refund, a direct consequence of their inadequate and damaging representation, was met with contemptuous disregard, merely providing a link to the State Bar's website. This is a true statement as Mr. Bigney failed to notify his client that he was no longer providing representation. The catastrophic ramifications of their actions on my life are severe and undeniable: I am now precluded from international travel, directly jeopardizing my long-standing, full-time employment. This is a true statement as the State Guidelines for Diversion do not allow Interstate or International Travel. I face projected personal income losses approaching $400,000. This is true as I was unable to accept a new job position because I am prohibited from International travel. I was prevented from attending a critical family event planned for five years overseas. I have already missed this critical family event and this is a true statement. I was afforded a mere 16 hours' notice regarding my sole remaining legal option. This is a true statement unless Mr. Bigney and his firm can show any kind of communication which never happened over the course of 10 months. The profound and devastating impact on my professional and personal life has necessitated accepting new employment with significantly reduced compensation to comply with court mandates. This constitutes a clear pattern of professional malpractice and a complete disregard for client welfare. I demand a thorough and immediate investigation into these grave matters. A simple refund of Attorney's fees out of principle is in order and will not even remotely fill in the losses my family has already had. All enclosed statements are true and accurate as of 8/22/2025. No false words are included.

David Bigney and his staff are outstanding. He reviewed my case with me in detail outlining every possible outcome (good and bad). However he kept me very optimistic about having a favorable outcome. David was very gracious and patient with the many questions we asked. His staff was courteous with ea...ch interaction. They were very responsive to phone calls, emails and conference scheduling.
