With less than a week to the auction of the home I was frantically looking for options to stop the sale of my home. The home had been vandalized and we had received an insurance check to make those repairs. The mortgage company had to also endorse the check. We need those repairs done in order to ge...t the home sold for full market value. They have held up getting the money for the repairs for 5 months and allowed it to go into foreclosure. I had lost so much time with trying to negotiate with the mortgage company. With what seems to be intentional delay tactics by the mortgage company, I finally exhausted all options I could handle on my own. I was totally over my head on this and desperately needed some legal help. I called and talked with several attorneys who told me it was too late to do anything with only 6 days until the auction. I reached out to Mike and he took the time to listen to me and understood my situation. He had four court appearances that day and a tight schedule. He said he would take the case. He would fit it in because it needed to be filed that day in order to get it done in time to stop the auction. . He prepared the case, filed the paperwork and the judge reviewed it. Against the opposition of the mortgage company's attorneys, the judge ordered that the auction be cancelled. Mike made it all happen for me...all within 18 hours. I highly recommend Mike and appreciate what he did for me and my family. We can now know that we have time to get our home restored and ready to go on the market.
