In the world of giving reviews to a company, organization or individuals there are good and bad, positive and negative responses. This review will be about an outstanding attorney from Central Florida and one that deserves only high accolades and 5-stars. I don't want this review to sound like a ...cliche or as if a bot or AI assistant helped write it. No, it's coming from me a real human with a real story that took me for a loop and created a lot of uncertainty. Right around 2008-09 I took out a HELOC loan to help me with a family and personal situation. I paid on it faithfully for approximately 3 years. After about three years, the bank went under leaving me high and dry with nowhere to send payments. Shoot forward some 18 years later, I get served with a foreclosure notice. My loan was sold to another collection agency-bank who tacked on an extra 40,000 on my 18,000 loan. This was a shocker and setback for my family. I didn't know where to turn other than do a bankruptcy. A bankruptcy lawyer I knew referred me to Mr. Stites and stated that if anyone could resolve this with favorable results, it would be Mr. Stites firm. I immediately hired Mr. Stites who right from the start and out of the gate went to battle for me. After months of court appearances and litigation, Mr. Stites was able to get the case into mediation rather than going into a lengthy trial. Due to Mr. Stites strong defense, knowledge of foreclosure laws and no nonsense representation, he was able to get the collection agency to agree to a amicable and affordable settlement. I feel Mr. Stites is the best, the most upfront and honest attorney in the business of foreclosure defense. He is highly respected by his peers and especially from the judges he interacts with day after day and week after week. Thankfully because of Mr. Stites knowledge, apptitude, experience and professionalism, he was able to prevent a takeover of my home. Please, before hiring anyone else, consider his law firm. My family and I did and thank God for putting him in our lives to defend our home and investment.

Michael picked up the phone when I initially called, I didn't have to go through an assistant. He understood my issue immediately and assured me that he would handle it. He provided me with updates during the time he worked on my case. One month later and the issue was resolved.
