I graduated from Cornell University Law School in ed as Assistant University Counsel for Cornell University from 1977 to 1980. Thereafter, I served as General Counsel for the University of Alaska Statewide System of Higher Education from 1980 to 1985. After moving to Florida in 1985, I went to work for a large law firm in Orlando, focusing on general corporate practice and property law (1986 - 1988). After a one year stint as General Counsel for Park Equus, Inc. (which developed the Arabian Nights Dinner Attraction in Kissimmee, Florida), I moved to Volusia County in 1989 where I served as City Attorney for the City of DeLand until I started my own practice in 1993. Today, I combine this experience to offer clients skilled and knowledgeable legal representation in wills, trusts and estate planning, probate and guardianship, elder law, real property transactions, land use and environmental law, business and commercial law, civil litigation and mediation. I have been a member of Rotary International since 1991.

Probate case for death of my wife Dorine Caban
