Highly recommended!

Fantastic! I originally contacted Long after I wasn't satisfied with a previous attorney who was handling my father's estate in probate. I read Long's reviews and high satisfaction rating and set a phone appointment. We spoke on the phone regarding my concerns and the details of my father's estate. L...ong was informative, practical, and helped me have an idea of what I should expect going through the process. He quoted me a rate to handle the estate in probate that was more than half of what the other attorney wanted! I could write a whole page on how satisfied I was throughout the entire process of handling the estate with Long's guidance. Call him. Talk to him. You will not be disappointed! I had never been through handling an estate through probate before, but Long helped me every step of the way. The case went through the court exactly as Long had explained to me that it would and in the time frame he expected. He actually helped pushed it through at the end since I had a sale pending on my father's house. Very satisfied and I would recommend him to anyone going through the same experience I did.

Above and beyond expectations!

Mr. Duong was extremely helpful! I needed help in determining the best course of action in filing for a Summary Administration for a family member. He thoroughly explained what I could expect if I should file and what would be most helpful to my specific circumstances. It turned out this was not t...he best course of action and he pointed me in the right direction which was not necessarily in his financial interests. He saved me a lot of time, effort, heartache and money. He was very thorough, patient and I felt as though the information provided to me was geared toward what was in my best interest and specific to my case. I would absolutely recommend Mr. Duong and should I ever need his services, I would not hesitate to hire him and would feel very confident in doing so. Thank you very much Mr. Duong!

Question answered by quick email

I asked Long Duong a question by email, and he answered it rapidly. My question concerned whether or not probate was necessary. Clearly his interest was in simply answering a stranger's question, not in drumming up business. His offer to do this by email or phone is a true service to those of us who... don't have an attorney "on call," when we just need to ask a basic question.

Wise Counsel from Long H. Duong

As the executor of a family friend's estate I was inquiring about options to set up a Revocable Living Trust and Long Duong was a great help in considering the most efficient process for her situation. We discussed the process of moving real estate assets from probate into a Trust. Long was extremely... knowledgeable and informative on the most prudent options that were available. Long answered my specific questions and concerns in a patient manner. He also included the pros and cons of moving a reverse mortgage HECM into a Living Trust as this was one of the specific concerns we had. Long also took the time to paint several different scenarios to explain the process more clearly. He also made very good suggestions on things that an executor or trustee should consider when fulfilling their fiduciary responsibilities, He made suggestions on the avoidance of any appearance of impropriety when setting up a Trust and the ethical management of assets. The fact that he made these suggestions was a demonstration of integrity and character which is important to me. I would highly recommend Long H. Duong to others who are looking for a sound Estate planning attorney.

Excellent advice

Mr. Duong was very helpful when we needed to access our son's safe deposit box. He directed us to a statute that would allow us to view the contents of the box without a lot of paperwork. This saved us both time and money, since it turns out the box was empty. He was a big help to us during a diff...icult time.
