Recently, I found myself in need of legal advice so I hired Richard Mercure. He fought my case tooth and nail even though it was in Hillsborough County. On the day of trial, it was clear that Rick was well-prepared. He had all his exhibits in order, with copies for everybody involved. The Officer ...tried his hardest to skate around the truth but in the end, Rick’s cross-examination was PERFECTION. He anticipated what the Officer was going to say well before the Officer even said it. The Judge acquitted me of all charges (and I didn’t even have to testify). Rick is a true trial lawyer and I would recommend him to anyone in need of a defense lawyer. He saved me countless amounts of time, money, and aggravation through out the entire process, making it painless for me. I couldn’t be happier with my decision to hire Rick!

One Thursday in 2014, I made a horrible mistake and drove drunk in Gainesville, FL. By Monday, after reviewing about 6 different lawyers, I had set up a consultation with Rick to discuss my options. Hopefully I will never have to see him again, but it was an absolute pleasure working with him for the time that I did!

Rick negotiated a reasonable sentence for my second DUI. I was nervous until I left my public defender and paid for real legal counsel. I managed to keep my full-time job while he made court appearances for me and he got most of my fines dissolved. Thank God I was referred to him. It's really wo...rth every penny.
