I am writing this to say Thank You to Attorney Stephen Cobb and express my foremost gratitude and recommendation of him as a Criminal Law Attorney. Initially, Mr. Cobb is Florida Bar Board Certified as a Specialist in Criminal Trial Law, being very difficult to attain and achieved by few attorneys.... He only practices criminal law, giving him a keen focus in this area of law. He has remarkable knowledge of the technical criminal laws and rules, which is very comforting as a client. He is very detail oriented, obtains extensive background information, develops a comprehensive plan of action for his cases, and is always very well prepared for court. He knows the criminal justice system and parties very well, allowing him to develop a practical, common sense approach to his cases, and be an excellent negotiator and strategist. Mr. Cobb is very much a real person and has compassion and patience towards his clients, yet still tells it like it is in a straightforward and honest manner. He is very easy to talk to and returns phone calls and emails in a timely manner. He is professional, respectful, honest, and even-tempered in court, yet is a tough and persistent adversary and negotiator, and is well respected by judges and his peers. He has extensive knowledge of mental health issues, laws, and resources related to criminal law, including brain imaging, evaluations, and treatment, allowing him to help people with their legal issues, as well as their overall wellbeing. Despite his vast experience and expertise, he is still a competitive and reasonably-priced professional. He goes above and beyond and treats his clients like a whole person, in a system which can be frightening, rigid, and impersonal. In sum, I give my utmost appreciation and recommendation to Attorney Stephen Cobb as an exceptional, highly skilled, and dedicated Criminal Law specialist attorney.

I ended up in a bad set of circumstances because of a State Driver's License computer error. I am a CDL holder so protecting my license status and not having a criminal record is vital my ability to drive & earn an income. Mr. Cobb was EXTREMELY knowledgeable in traffic & criminal law and was able t...o come up with the best route to win the case. Mr. Cobb successfully resolved my case, prior to jury selection, through progressive negotiation with the Prosecuting Attorney. In the end, he provided the Prosecuting Attorney with a written statement that included the salient facts and sequence of the arrest, and a supported argument that the offi...cer in fact had no grounds to arrest me, and therefore I could not be charged with resisting arrest. Mr. Cobb makes use of a comprehensive four day report, completed by the defendant, to determine the most effective course of action in winning a case. He also provides assistance to the defendant in the form of a self-help material list, and a dress code for court that has been proven to contribute to the outcome. Mr. Cobb is easy to talk to, and is careful not to belabor points before the judge, and swiftly moves forward. He is one of only a handful of certified Criminal Trial Attorneys in Pensacola - which is why I chose him, having never been in any sort of situation concerning the law, other than one speeding ticket, prior to this event.
