John Michael Kvartek

John Kvartek was my attorney for my divorce, which became final in 2012. Because my ex-wife and her first attorney had left some issues unresolved, I retained John again in 2017. John is thorough in preparation. He called me in as needed to update me on the case and to get information. He filed do...cuments on time. He kept me aware of filings from the other side. He made every effort to resolve things quickly and justly, without the time and expense of court appearances. He accepted my e-mails and considered my input when I had suggestions on what to do. A few days after I suggested to John that we try to settle out of court, the judge ordered mediation. John, a mediator himself, hired an outstanding family-law mediator to help us settle. At the mediation, John let me make the decisions; but he gave me multiple suggestions from the standpoints of an attorney, a mediator, and a judge. His guidance kept negotiations going until we reached a workable agreement. John Kvartek is an excellent attorney, supported by knowledgeable, efficient office staff. I highly recommend him if you need a family-law attorney.

I'm sure Mr. Kvartek is a very commendable lawyer, his staff certainly is very nice. I consulted with him about my Custody/modification/support case and while he did listen and ask questions, I got a bad feeling from him because of how familiar/friendly he seemed to be with the Magistrate in my case ...(who is NOT in my favor) and also his friendship with the previous idiot of an attorney I had hired that screwed me over. I decided to NOT go with him, just in case, because something told me that since he was so "chummy" with my enemies, that he would be no friend to my cause. Tread carefully.
