Kristin handled my divorce well and we were able to settle through arbitration due to her efforts. I actually came out better than I thought I would as my ex-to-be went after the house that she had put nothing into and did not get it. When my ex did not have her lawyer follow through on the filing... (monies were allowed to her in the settlement), Kristin took care of it for me so I could move on. I understand that some people do not get what they want in court, but that is often due to the facts of the case or the disposition of the judge. I have seen it too often with friends and family. Since the divorce I have sought follow up advice and in once case was looking for a good family law attorney in another state for my son and Kristin responded by advising me as to how to search for a good firm. In 2004 I retained Kristin to help with establishing a parenting schedule for my daughter. My uncle, a law professor at FSU and highly regarded mediator, highly recommended Kristin. In 2009 when the cards seemed to be stacked against me, Kristin was instrumental with helping my daughter attend the ...schools that I recommended to the court. Without Kristin, I'm very confident the hearing would not have had the same result. Furthermore, in 2010 we attended mediation to re-establish the parenting schedule and, once again, Kristin was incredible with the outcome where our daughter was provided equal parenting time between her parents along with several other issues that were resolved to our daughter's best interest.
