Do not hire Ms. Adamson for representation for men / fathers

I hired Ms. Adamson for representation based on her professional awards and associations in Family law when seeking divorce from my former wife. Understanding that Florida is a 'no-fault-state', I lost my entire retirement, savings, house, and even the kids to a woman with un-remorseful, chronic inf...idelity while I was deployed. Despite evidence of the ex-wife being an unfit mother and endangering the welfare of the kids, she won everything and I lost everything. As a military veteran, and former police officer in the state of Florida, I have nothing left. Ms. Adamson 'went with the flow' and did little to nothing to aggressively fight for this father's rights. Her legal assistance was more procedural with acquiescence to 'going through the motions because this is the way it is in the state of Florida'. In my opinion, she did not extend representation I expected or needed to ensure for the best possible household stability for my children or to sustain my current household without riding the edge of bankruptcy. My life savings and influence over the decisions for my children are still non-existent.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
