My home will be auctioned off on Wed March 12, 2025 On March 3rd India Footman Footman Law Firm. told me she could... get that delayed for 3 months giving me time to sell my home and liquidate my assets. Originally quoted $403 and on March 4th charged me $403 to file a chapter 7 However on March 7 after asking me to list the contents of my home; She then reversed and said she needed an additional $1,000 to file the bankruptcy. I explained to her that my bank account was a negative $400 because I paid her original quoted fee and her response was "Pawn the stuff in your house" I asked her if I could pay over time; She said NO! So I asked how am I going to get any of my furniture or TV sets to the pawn shop" Since I don't drive or own a vehicle because of my medical conditions and I don't even have money to pay an Uber and if I can't get this bankruptcy filed, come Wed March 12th I'm going to be homeless and in my medical condition I'm not going to last two months on the street. You're literately setting me up to die. Her response to this was "That's Not My Problem, I need the extra $1,000 to help you and I need all of it by Tuesday" By the time most of you read this I'll most likely be dead or at the very least be homeless and near death. This country has become the most cruel and inhumane where greed runs rampant. Just wanted people to know Calvin

The way my lawyer, India Footman, took me under her wing, eased my mind and explained the process, made me feel confident in her. Her assistant, Angela, was wonderful and also made herself ...available to me, if I had questions. India was professional, straight forward and had my bankruptcy completed in less than 2 months. You will be very pleased, by working with this law firm.

I hired this attorney for a matter she claimed to have expertise in. She does not look in the best interest of her clients. She misses deadlines to file with paperwork with the courts leaving the client with no option since the timeline to file with the court expired. She has poor communication and c...laims she has done things that were absolutely not done. She lacks the skill to rebut your case and again not looking in the client's best interest. So she dropped the proverbial ball and has no concern. I would not recommend this attorney to anyone. She does not contact you or keep you up to date on your case and does not look in the best interest of her clients. Stay away! You don't need an attorney who again misses timelines to file papers with the court leaving the client in a very bad situation. Do yourself a favor steer clear. That's my opinion what's in the best interest of any future client that is contemplating retaining this attorney. Very very poor.
