Biography
Robert Elrod, Jr. is a Jacksonville native who has practiced law with his father since 1999. After completing high school at the Bolles School, he attended the University of Florida and graduated with a B.A. in History in 1994. He then attended law school at Cumberland Law School in Birmingham, Alabama and graduated in 1999. Since becoming a member of Florida Bar in 1999, Mr. Elrod, Jr. has primarily practiced law in the areas of bankruptcy and civil litigation including family law and foreclosure and collections defense. He has represented clients throughout Northeast Florida, in the First District Court Of Appeals in Tallahassee and in the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals in Atlanta. He is married and has a son and a daughter.

Excellent Outcome
Mr.Elrod was very informative and helpful in helping me with my case . I had a good experience with him and his office staff and would recommend him to friends and family in the future.

Consulted, but did not hire
Mr. Elrod contacted me promptly in response to my request for assistance with my grandfather's situation, however, he was unable to help us because my grandfather needs someone who can appear in Kissimmee, and the cost would be too high.

Excellent Results
Mr. Elrod represented me in a custody fight with my ex wife. Even though she originally had the kids, he was able to convince the judge that to give them to me. Great Lawyer
I had a great experience with this law firm. Mr. Elrod, Jr. was knowledgeable, efficient, and compassionate. He allowed me to save my home, get rid of my second mortgage, drop my car payment and get rid of all my credit cards and charged a fair price. He is the real deal. I recommend this lawyer.

Terrible outcome
In court Elrod was very passive, had no plan or argument, didn’t put up any fight, & is definitely not the “bulldog” you want representing you..I ended up having to pay my ex’s attorney fees and my child support was doubled! He was content the entire time and had a whatever attitude. The court system...
