I have personally gone through the immigration process so my clients and prospective clients can expect, not just an experienced attorney zealously advocating their needs, but an individual, like themselves who firsthand understands, their hopes, fears and confusion in their journey through the complexities of the immigration process.
I migrated to the United States from the small Caribbean Island, Grenada, after I graduated high school. I was born in Lebanon, but grew up in Grenada, and as a result have been fortunate to have been exposed to different cultures, peoples, and ways of lives - an education within itself.
I entered the United States on an F-1 student visa to attend college where I acquired a Bachelors of Arts degree in Psychology with a minor in Biology, and a Master’s of Science degree in Criminal Justice. I then attended Florida Coastal School of Law and graduated with honors in 1999. After graduating I applied for an H-1B non-immigrant work visa, and worked as a domestic violence counselor. I later went through the tedious Labor Certification process, US Legal Permanent Resident process, and finally, this year on January 12, 2010, became a proud United States Citizen.
The oldest of five, I am well traveled, enjoy politics, world affairs, and have lobbied at the United Nations, Department of State, and Department of Defense on issues surrounding the sovereignty and independence of Lebanon.
What My Clients Can Expect:
To adequately practice law, one cannot forget the human aspect of it. My clients can expect promptness, understanding, determination and a commitment to excellence in the services I provide. I treat each individual case as though it was my own or a family member’s. Having gone through the process myself, I know that dealing with immigration can be both intimidating and confusing. Therefore, I thoroughly prepare my clients through each step of the process, addressing each of their needs with professionalism and high ethical standards.

"Attorney Fakhre is an exceptional immigration attorney because she is, herself, an immigrant. She is also very aware of the issues facing those of particular ethnicities and nationalities given her own diverse background and upbringing. With Attorney Fakhre you will have a highly intelligent attorney with many years of experience, who will work hard for you. But most importantly, Attorney Fakhre genuinely cares about all her clients and their families. That genuine empathy she feels for her clients make an otherwise good attorney, great. It is the attorney who believes in her clients who will work and fight the hardest for them. Attorney Fakhre has my strongest endorsement."
