Ms.Plata has helped me and changed me as an individual in ways that words can’t explain. For one she’s the best attorney and the only attorney that I would ever recommend to somebody looking for help. I was 16 when my parents first hired Ms.Plata as my defense attorney for a crime that I committed as... a juvenile. Needless to say the state attorney prosecutor decided to charge me as an adult which meant that I had to face a minimum mandatory of 10+ Years in prison on adult charges for my first ever offense and an offense that I committed as a juvenile. Ms.Plata along with her team have fought long and hard for over the last 4 years and continue to fight for me after the matter. I was originally supposed to do 10-15 years on my original charge but after fighting my case for a little over a year, Ms.Plata had convinced the court to sentence me as a juvenile to a juvenile residential facility until my 21st birthday at the age of 17 with the condition that I will not remain a convicted felon afterwards. During that time she was always checking up on me and showed me a type of concern and love that only someone who genuinely cares for their clients can show. I never not once had to worry about her not doing her job or making the right decision or even coming to visit me to check on how I was doing, which as a parent I know means a lot to have someone go beyond their work hours and regular expectations to make sure their children are safe and fine when they can’t. The state attorney that was over my case could only be described as the worst prosecutor that an accused defendant and defendant’s family can ever dream of going up against. Yet Ms.Plata stood there the entire time by our sides and fought with such fierce devotion and strategy to defend me. She in other words can be described as an arch angel set to protect her clients with only the purest intentions yet with the most devoted protection. My parents were immigrants who spoke little Spanish and didn’t know the first thing to do in a situation like this. Yet they heard of her through a friend and were instantly took care of by her. Ms.Plata being bilingual made it easy for them to communicate with her and she made sure that she took care of any concerns that they had while also upholding and maintaining attorney and client privileges. That occurred back in 2018 fast forward to today’s time it is now July 2022 and thanks to Ms.Plata and her team’s hard work I’ve managed to get released early before my 21st birthday. Not only am I not a convicted felon but I was blessed enough to receive a Fully Paid For Two-Year Scholarship to attend any college in the state of Florida that the program that I was sentenced to provided for me that was only possible through the opportunity that Ms.Plata had made for me. Ms.Plata has been an amazing lawyer, a great family friend, and more importantly a mentor to me and someone that I could always go to and will forever look up to. She has forever impacted my life in ways that words will never be able to describe and been an over all blessing to me and my family’s life, as well as others. Thank You.

Where do I even start. Mrs,Plata was recommended to me through a friend who used her services and had an awesome outcome. Being that i never had to use a lawyer before I didn't know where to start. So i made the phone call to Mrs.Plata's office, once speaking to her assistant she took all my informat...ion and scheduled and date and time to speak with Mrs. Plata. When I did my consultation Mrs.Plata was very attentive to listening to my story and making sure to ask question to get the most information as possible. She then went into explaining best case scenario / worst case scenario. I also wanted to know an estimate on how long everything would take being that i was unable to work because of my situation. Mrs Plata informed me that the turn around time for my case should be fairly quick. Once I paid my retainer she was very quick with sending out information to let the judge know that she would be representing me. After that it was a waiting game. However i waited not for to long, in about a week and a half i received a phone call that the case was closed and the charges was dropped. I couldn't have thanked Mrs Plata enough for all she had done in the short amount of time. On top of all of this her pricing was very affordable which was one of my biggest concerns being that I was unable to work. After everything was completed Mrs.Plata still reached out to see how things were going and to check if I was able to return back to working. It was as if I wasn't just a number to her and she actually cared about my situation. I would definitely recommend Mrs.Plata to anyone seeking a criminal attorney.
