Prior to co-foudning Coquina Law Group, Ashby was a lead trial attoreny at an insurance defense firm in Daytona Beach, Fl. There he represented insurance companies against 1st party claims from insureds and defendants in claims for persona injury, wrongful death arising out of aviation and motor vehcile accidents. Ashby was a prosecutor at the State Attorney’s Office of the Seventh Judicial Circuit of Florida where he was awarded the 2013 Trial Top Gun award.
Ashby graduated Florida Coastal School of Law in Jacksonville, Florida in 2010. During law school he clerked for a construction law firm and was a Law Clerk for the Honorable Harmon Drew in the Louisiana Second Circuit Court of Appeals. Ashby worked for for a law firm in St. Augustine, Florida as a legal intern and first year assoicate prior to becoming an assitant state attoreny.
Ashby attended undergraduate school at Northwestern State University of Louisiana in Natchitoches, LA, where he obtained a B.S. in business admistration and competed in College Rodeos.
