Edwin H. Duff III

I was a client of Duff. He acted in a most duplicitous manner, not fighting when I instructed him to fight, not claiming the obvious entrapment (on a political extortion charge). He accepted money from my father on my behalf, and went straight to work for the prosecution, who, when I asked, he adm...itted were friends of his. So, Ed stabbed my father in the back (he knew him through Kiwanis), threw me down the stairs (no one, but who was taking his instructions from others would have failed so bad to snuff out the weak case of the prosecution), and he left the community exposed to a clear and present danger from which it was subsequently grieviously injured. Fact, Ed was weak and duplicitous and cowardly in his conduct.

Ed was hired to defend me on an extortion charge. He was instructed by me to fight the charge. He did not. Many people in the community were subsequently hurt by the MD with whom I had a disagreement. That person had a license to continue until (the medical licensing board operates this way), in fact..., he was no longer insurable, and ceased operation because he became liable for his own civil losses. Ed's failure to provide a "vigorous defense" at the time it was requested contributed greatly, in my opinion, to the subsequent damage to the community (said MD ended up on an episode of Dateline NBC for the damage he did within the local community).
