Biography
I have been a Florida Trial Lawyer-Litigator since 1986. I represent ordinary people who have been hurt by the negligence of others. As a Trial Lawyer, my practice is limited to personal injury and wrongful death cases. I first entered the courtroom in 1986 and I am still in the Courtroom on a regular basis, fighting for the rights of my clients.
I was born and raised in Valdosta, Georgia and moved to Florida in 1979 to attend the University of Central Florida in Orlando. In 1986 I passed the Florida Bar after graduating from Samford University’s Cumberland School of Law in Birmingham, Alabama. After a couple of years working in Orlando, I moved to Alachua, Florida where I have continued to work representing regular people.
I enjoy helping people solve their problems. This was one of the primary reasons that motivated me to go to law school and become a lawyer.
With each case I work on, I take the time to analyze the subtle nuances of the case, leaving “no stone unturned”. I want to win for my clients. I hate to lose!
When I am not in the Courtroom or in my office, I enjoy the country life on our property in Alachua. My wife Gracie, my son Logan and I enjoy our dogs (4 at this time), our horses, and tending a big garden.
