I received my JD degree from Stetson College of Law in Gulfport, Fl.  Following admission to the Florida Bar, I worked for the Public Defender's Office in Clearwater, Florida for 5+ years.  I relocated to Jacksonville, Fl. and worked for the Office of Regional Conflict Counsel for several years until I opened my own Jacksonville practice in 2011.

 

I am an experienced trial attorney.  My practice focused primarily on Criminal Defense, but I recently expanded my practice to include family law and personal injury cases.

 

I am married to my best friend, and am an avid dog lover -- we currently have 4 large, furry "children" that allow us to share our home with them.  You can see the picture of 3 of them hanging out on the back porch.

"Professional"
I had the pleasure of working with Mrs. Laura Gapske on a personal legal matter. I was very impressed with her professionalism and expertise in the laws and statues of my case. Mrs. Gaspke always answered my questions and concerns in a timely manner. She is very warm, passionate and personable. Excellent!
Laura is absolutely excellent! She is so knowledgeable and hard working. It was such a relief to know that I had someone like her on my side. She kept me informed every step of the way, and was always available to answer my questions and address my concerns. She always responds in a timely manner, which is greatly appreciated, and reassuring in stressful situations! Not just a great lawyer but a great person with wonderful personal character. I would highly recommend her services.
