I am a partner in Peak Wooten McDaniel & Colwell LLP, where I have successfully litigated trucking, personal injury, product liability, and class action cases in courts throughout the nation. In 2019, I was lead counsel in a $280 million wrongful death trucking verdict, the largest verdict in a trucking case in American history. I have personally been involved in cases with verdicts and settlements exceeding $1 billion. I enjoy helping clients get their lives back together and, if necessary, trying cases to juries. After graduating summa cum laude from The Citadel and magna cum laude from Mercer Law School, I clerked for a federal judge and then began my practice at an international law firm handling complex litigation. Over the course of my career, I have handled numerous multi-million dollar wrongful death, personal injury and False Claims Act cases and was part of a team that resolved a group of consumer class action cases for cash settlements exceeding $225 million. I remain an active member of the bar and frequently speak and write on trial practice and procedure.
