Before opening his own law practice, Mr. Wright was a prosecutor in Savannah, Chatham County, GA, in the Special Victims Unit. He was responsible for prosecuting cases related to abuse, neglect and exploitation of the elderly and disabled persons, domestic violence and sexual assault cases. He was also responsible for prosecuting DUI cases and other misdemeanors on a State Court trial team.
Prior to serving as a prosecutor, his professional experience was primarily in government service and working for a large non-profit. He was an assistant general counsel with his primary practice area in employment law at Partners Healthcare in Boston, Massachusetts; an assistant attorney general in the Civil Division to former Massachusetts Attorney General Tom Reilly; legislative aide to former Massachusetts State Senator Dianne Wilkerson; and a judicial law clerk for the Superior Court Judges of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
He earned his law degree from Suffolk University Law School (1998). He received a Bachelor’s degree in History, with a minor in Classical Civilizations (1994) and a Masters in Public Affairs (2004).
He is also committed to serving his community, he is a founding member of his children’s parent teacher organization and involved with other local non-profits.
