I am Attorney Blake J. Smith, an accomplished and experienced lawyer honing my legal skills related to personal injury cases all around the state of Georgia since 1995. Nelson & Smith focuses on providing quality representation to people who’ve suffered an injury as a result of another person’s negligence.

For almost two decades, I had handled thousands of law matters recovering millions of dollars in settlements for clients injured in an accident. These include, but are not limited to, car accidents, truck accidents, wrongful death, defective products, social security disability, and workers compensation cases for people injured on the job.

I graduated at Georgia College and State University with a Bachelor of Science in August 1989. While attending the prestigious John Marshall School of Law in Atlanta, I served my community as a full-time parole officer for the state of Georgia. My commitment to my employer and dedication to achieving a lifelong dream of becoming an attorney clearly demonstrates my character – I will bring this same dedication to representing you in your pursuit of justice.

Upon graduation from law school in April 1995, I chose a legal career dedicated to helping people – not corporations. At the formation of the law firm, there was a conscious decision to never represent an insurance company or large corporation – over 19 years, I kept that promise.

Great Attorney
I was a client of Nelson and Smith. Blake Smith represented me in my automobile accident case. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Mr. Smith for doing an outstanding job on my case. He and his staff were completely professional in their handling of my case. Can't thank Blake enough
When I approached Nelson & Smith about my situation, I was really in a bad place. I felt like I did not have any allies and no one cared about my future and the future of my family. Mr. Smith managed to ease much of that anxiety right from the start. He was always up to speed and proactive every step of the way. i recommend Blake Smith if you have been injured on the job or in an accident.
Blake handled my workers compensation claim for me extremely well. He returned my phone calls and handled my claim professionally. He was able to get my wage benefits started quickly and get my medical treatment handled with qualified surgeons. He got me a great settlement in the end. i recommend you use Blake for your workers compensation case or your personal injury case.

work comp
I had a work related injury and Mr Smith and staff worked hard to get what I deserve.he personally made callers to me anytime I needed him or his staff.they ate honest and careing I will use them for my s.s disability.

GOOD ATTORNEY
Blake represented me in a workers' compensation case and did a good job for me. He was always there when I had a question about my case, and answered my questions. I was very pleased with the way Mr. Smith handled my case.

Great people
They did a great job taking care of everything and communication. When ever I had a question they got back to me and always made sure that I was informed of what was going on and in a timely manner. I would definitely come back to them and will always recommend them to anyone. On top of that it only took a few months to get it all taken care of. I can not thank them enough.

A Great Lawyer
After my accident I needed a lawyer. I called Blake Smith and he handled everything for me. Every time I called his staff was respectfull and honest with me. Very Pleased
Not only were Blake and his staff constant professionals, they genuinely cared about my case and my well-being. This was my first auto accident and my first experience with an attorney.
