Biography
I am Attorney Blake J. Smith, an accomplished and experienced lawyer honing my legal skills related to personal injury cases all around the state of Georgia since 1995. Nelson & Smith focuses on providing quality representation to people who’ve suffered an injury as a result of another person’s negligence.
For almost two decades, I had handled thousands of law matters recovering millions of dollars in settlements for clients injured in an accident. These include, but are not limited to, car accidents, truck accidents, wrongful death, defective products, social security disability, and workers compensation cases for people injured on the job.
I graduated at Georgia College and State University with a Bachelor of Science in August 1989. While attending the prestigious John Marshall School of Law in Atlanta, I served my community as a full-time parole officer for the state of Georgia. My commitment to my employer and dedication to achieving a lifelong dream of becoming an attorney clearly demonstrates my character – I will bring this same dedication to representing you in your pursuit of justice.
Upon graduation from law school in April 1995, I chose a legal career dedicated to helping people – not corporations. At the formation of the law firm, there was a conscious decision to never represent an insurance company or large corporation – over 19 years, I kept that promise.
