As someone who loves words, I have to admit that I first just liked saying "Conowal Law" in an announcer’s voice. But after the scheduled consultation with Chris, I immediately felt at ease in hiring him to handle my divorce case. At the consultation, he explained the basics of uncontested vs contest...ed cases, was transparent about costs, and listened as I explained my specific situation. Chris also offers multiple methods of contact - phone, email, an online portal, a text messaging service. I literally showed up when the office opened the morning after a concerning incident occurred involving my ex-spouse and was able to talk on the phone with Chris within minutes so he could explain things I needed to do that day so as to avoid sleeping in a hotel another night with my two children. During the mediation, Chris’s confident and direct communication made it easy for me not to be sidelined by the emotions of the case, and once a settlement was reached, I left his office feeling something I never expected to feel in that moment - content. For real, if I ever find out that someone is in need of a lawyer for the same reason I was, I will most definitely recommend Chris Conowal.
