Where do I start? I first met Mr. Conowal when I was dating someone who had used him as his divorce attorney. He went to bat for him and did good considering it’s ga and mothers normally end up with full custody. He was able to get him 50/50 with a fair amount of child support though in my opinion a...s a mom who shares custody of my son with his father and does not want not ask for one penny as we are sharing time with our child- it should be standard in ga to not make either parent pay child support when it’s 50/50. It’s not fair to either parent. Anyways. When the mother wanted to move to Cali he initially retained Mr. Conowal then decided to go with a female lawyer. Which in the end did help him with the case but he did not get what he wanted (which worked out best for the kids in the long run). Anyways. I recently retained Mr. Conowal as my attorney to represent me against false theft charges. He has been amazing and knows what he’s talking about. I can’t imagine a better person to have on my side. He is fair and honest and Ruthless. I am thankful I know him.

Chris is a lawyer who doesn't pull any punches. He will tell you worst case scenarios about what you could be facing in your case. That may be scary but it’s so much better than being blindsided in the courtroom. I had a traumatic experience where my kindness of giving a stranger a ride home lead to ...me being sexually assaulted. I was lucky enough to get the man out of my car but as I frantically drove off and tried to turn around on a skinny road in the middle of the night, I found myself stuck in a ditch. Real fear started to set in after calling my sixth tow truck with no luck. At that point I became extremely upset and literally begged the next tow truck driver to help me by explaining that I had just been assaulted. As I waited for the tow truck driver to arrive, I was met by two police officers. The tow truck driver called the police thinking he was helping me. Long story short the man was charged with sexual assault, and I was charged with DUI after admitting to having a couple of drinks that evening. On the advice of Chris, I completed the risk reduction class, drug and alcohol evaluation and 40 hours of community service before going to court. I was also prepared to pay all fines the day of court. Chris was able to use that to help eliminate my DUI charge, negotiate a lesser charge that isn't on my permanent record, he kept my license from being suspended and kept me off probation. I couldn't have asked for a better outcome following one of the biggest mistakes of my life. I learned two very valuable and hard lessons that night. I truly couldn't be any more grateful to Chris for helping me weather this storm. It was a great feeling knowing that I was in good hands with a lawyer who truly cared about me and the outcome of my case.

Chris has a way of not making you feel like just a client. He and his staff did their best to make sure my family and I felt comfortable and cared for. Legal issues are not fun for anyone, but Chris helps to break it down in a way you can understand. He completed our case even faster than I anticip...ated. I highly recommend Mr. Conowal to anyone who has a family or criminal issue!!
