Bad attorney DONT GO WITH HER !

When consulting her she will make it seem that she is on top of things. That her and her office staff are the best choice you could make in a lawyer, but when actually being her Client she won’t even keep you updated on your case , won’t go with you to any of your immigrations interviews or appointme...nts. Will just tell you what to say and tell you to go on the website to make appointments. You will constantly have to call her to know your status. Will always have no new information till you yourself go to immagration and they provide the most recent info. When you call to talk her she is always with a client and will call you back (never calls back) or the security says she’s not in the office and has no clue how to answer or assist your questions and Luzmina still doesn’t call you back. Very very unprofessional lawyer and still when you are the one making appointments, calling her , filling out and sending in paper work or taking the paper work to Atlanta because she doesn’t have a fax to send it to or even provide you with a fax with all this still manages to up charge you and always tell you owe her money when no paperwork is given stating the exact amount. In my case I believe I was my own lawyer who had a little help from a wanna be one with a degree who only cares about money that charged me a lot . She only cares about money and not her clients nor their cases . AGAIN PLEASE DONT HIRE HER !!

DACA

Ms. Luzmina helped me from the beginning with my DACA process. This is the third time I have applied and, she has helped me each time. First, with the initial case and two renewals. Everything has gone as smooth as she stated it would. I was 15 years old when my parents hired her. I am now in Co...llege. I am grateful to this country for the opportunity to be protected under the DACA program and to her for guidance throughout these years.

Dishonest, unethical, and took all our money

Awful service. She took our money and never did a thing. Very unethical. She never wanted to give us copies of anything we filed. Does not have a copy machine in her office and all the money orders for INS we gave her had to be blank. She also never have us receipts and got very upset when we asked h...er for them. I don't doubt one bit that she has been writing her own reviews. Google her and you will see other people going through the same thing with her.

Greetings. I always provide clients with copies of their entire file. Any payments made for filing fees are made out to US Department of Homeland Security and are shown to the client in person the day the fees are brought to the office. They are advised that US Department of Homeland Security will mail the client and me receipts for all filing fees. Upon receiving the receipts from immigration , the client is contacted to verify that said receipts were received. The receipts for attorney's fees paid and a copy of the contract is given to the client the same day I am hired. Please contact my office if you did not understand the documents you were given when you hired me and I will be more than happy to explain everything to you again. I am unable to reach out to you since you placed this post anonymously.

Naturalization

Mrs. Gonzalez is an awesome and very caring attorney. If you want to become a US Citizen go see her. She does not charge anyone a fee to prepare their N400 Citizenship application. I could not believe it... an attorney who does not charge a fee to prepare this long and complicated application. A...ll Mrs. Gonzalez says is register to vote the day you become a citizen. I am now a US Citizen and I am registered to Vote! Thanks to Attorney Luzmina Gonzalez.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
