It has been a new and very effective experience. Ms. Kumala is very professional, although she is not Hispanic, she knows how to handle deportation cases. In my case, she managed to close it, that's why I recommend her. thank you very much Ms Kamala.

U-visa Approved
Attorney Sessoms helped me with a DUI, which placed me in deportation proceedings, I also had a criminal charge of possession of Marijuana less than 3 ounces and I also applied for a U-Visa. She has represented me in Immigration Court and I am now waiting for my case to be closed with the Atlanta Immigration Court so that I will no longer be deported. All of my criminal charges have been resolved and I am not in jail and my U-Visa was approved! I am very happy with Attorney Sessoms. She was very helpful. The results are great! Now, I have a work permit and I am very happy. She was very professional very helpful. I would recommend her for any case. I want to give her thanks for all her help.

A Very Good Attorney
I have been working with Attorney Sessoms for about a year now, she has been helping me adjust my status due to an approved U-Visa I have. I heard about Attorney Sessoms on a radio show and decided to meet with her to see if she could help me. She made me feel like my process was very important to her, she always helped me and explained to me everything that I would need to have success with my case. She always called me if there was ever a change in my case, so I always felt well informed. I never had to go out of my way to contact her about my case. I would say she's a very honest attorney, she provided me with very good services. Now that my case is approved, I have received my legal permanent resident status thanks to Attorney Sessoms. I feel so relieved, and I feel like the process went by quickly because I had a good attorney rather than someone who didn't know as much about what they were doing. I am currently in the process of trying to petition for my parents, and will one day become a citizen. I know that I will come to Attorney Sessoms to help me with any future cases.

Hardworking Attorney
I first heard about Attorney Sessoms through a friend of mine who Attorney Sessoms had helped previously. I was looking for immigration relief for my husband and I had been told that she was an immigration attorney. When we came to our first consultation I came with my husband, she told me that I could petition for him since I was a United States Citizen. She explained the whole process and even though I was a little nervous, she always assured me that everything would be okay. Her office staff provided me with questionnaires and checklists that I and my husband would need for our case, and her and her staff were always helpful if I had questions or didn't understand something. I would say she always kept me well informed on my case and I almost always got a call back within the same day. I also appreciated that she was always honest with us about the good parts of our case as well as the bad, she was never misleading, and she always let us know that whether things were good or bad she would do everything for our case. She was able to guide us through the three step family petition process, we even got to Mexico for our interview and are now legally back in the United States thanks to Attorney Sessoms. During our immigration case processing, we were involved in a personal injury case that she was able to help us with as well. She explained that process to us, let us know what could happen and how she could help us, she made sure we received the physical care that we needed, and she worked hard with our insurance agency to make sure that our bills were covered. Even with our medical bills covered and our personal damage taken care of, we still received a large settlement check from the accident. We would recommend Attorney Sessoms to any friends or family because it is obvious that she is very dedicated to her work, and we would trust her to take care of any of our future endeavors.

A Great Immigration Attorney
I first heard about Attorney Sessoms from a radio ad, I was having some immigration problems and I decided that I should seek guidance with my issues. I had past issues including a border encounter from when I first entered, so I did not think I would be eligible for any kind of relief, I certainly didn't think I'd be eligible for a possible United States permanent residency status and one day citizenship. In my first consultation, she explained to me that I would be eligible for a U-Visa. When I started my case she provided me with a checklist and a questionnaire, she always kept me prepared for my applications and let me know everything up front. In time, she not only helped me obtain my U-Visa, my wife was also eligible as a beneficiary and she helped us both received approved applications. This is a route to citizenship in the United States, and Attorney Sessoms is who helped us from the start. She is an excellent attorney, I have already recommended her to many of my friends as she has helped us so much. We're very thankful for her that she helped us with our case, without her we don't know how we would have received any immigration relief. She was always honest with us about the good and bad parts of our case, and she always kept us well informed as to what was missing or when the applications were being sent, as well as any updates on our case. I know that we will be coming back to Attorney Sessoms should we have any legal problems, and we would recommend her to any of our friends or family members.

Excellent Service
I was referred to Attorney Sessoms by a friend one day when I was in court. I had run into some trouble with immigration and knew that I would need representation and help with my case, I had already tried to go to court without an attorney and it did not go well for me. She always answered all of my questions, she called me whenever she had any new information. I would say she is a very honest person, she knows her work well and is always up to date and informed with the new immigration laws that are changing or current. She helped me get more time in court which is something that I needed, all the while she helped me receive my approved DACA and employment authorization so that I could work legally in the United States. Her staff is always helpful and willing to answer questions to the best of their abillities, I was always taken care of as swiftly as possible. Attorney Sessoms was always honest with me about my case, she always told me the good and bad parts of what was going on which was something that I appreciated even if I didn't like the truth, she was always up front with me. I will definitely be using her again for my future immigration cases and renewals and I would recommend her to anyone who needs an legal help.

An excellent attorney!
The attorney handled two criminal charges that I had. I had a DUI and NO Drivers License charge and she was able to dismiss this for me. The DUI was reduced to reckless driving. The attorney was also able to assist me with a speeding ticket and also a false information charge that was dismissed thanks to her. The attorney was always upfront, honest, and very professional. The firm provides you with a payment plan which is really helpful. The staff is great and provides great customer service.

Great Service
Hi, my name is Noemi, I'm 35 years old and reside in Atlanta, GA. Back in 2013 I hired Ms. Sessoms to work my U.S. legalization case. My husband had passed away in 2011 leaving my daughter and I alone. My husband who was a U.S. citizen had looked into applying for my legalization and has started some of the process but he passed away from Cancer before anything was finalized. Many people had told me I would never be able to receive a status since my husband wasn't alive anymore. When I asked help from Ms. Sessoms she told me I had a great opportunity at receiving a status and that she would do anything possible to help me. She would even seek for me to be able to stay here and not have to go to Mexico for an extended period of time. I'm happy to be able to say that she did everything she had promised she would accomplish. I did end up having to go to Mexico but it was only for 3 weeks but after those weeks I was able to come back legally. Now I can finally work, move around, and provide for my daughter without having to stress or be scared of being penalized or deported for being illegal. I have Ms. Sessoms to thank for all of this. She worked my case with diligence and determination, I am very thankful. I would and have recommended Sessoms & Virguez to anyone I know looking for legalization or immigration help. I can't express enough how thankful I am for all of Ms. Sessoms' help and outstanding work.

Highly Satisfied Client
I thought the service was great, everyone was very nice. Very professional, and efficient. I would recommend this attorney, she was able to do everything well for my process and I am very happy. I consulted with 2 or 3 other attorneys and they did not want to take my case because it was very complicated. I am honestly very happy with this attorney.

i am very glad that she was my lawyer because in my point of view she did an excellent job with my case and i felt like if i had gone somewhere else, the results would have been different. Meaning that out of the 5 charges that i had, she managed to drop 4 of them leaving me with one charge to focus with.

A Great Firm
Hello, my name is Sophy [removed by Avvo staff]. I was detained by ICE in November 2011 on a drug charge and was recently release. I won my case by filing Cancellaion of Removal. I was facing deportation at the time until I hired Attorney Sessoms. She advised me that I had a good chance of winning my case. She was very honest and sincere. I would recommend Attorney Sessoms to anyone who is going through Immigration. I hired her while I was still in the custody of Cobb County. I wanted her to get an early start on my case before I was transferred to ICE. She informed me on everything I needed to know about fighting my case and Immigration Laws. By the time I was at ICE she already filed a motion for a bond hearing. Even though it was denied due to my charges, Attorney Sessoms was already on it. She worked with my family while I was in ICE custody to make sure all the proper paperwork was filed and finalize. Her support team are very great at what they do. Her investigator is very helpful and go out of the way to make things right for their clients. Upon my trial, Attorney Sessoms and her investigator made the trip down to Ocilla Ga. to prep me. She made me feel very comfortable and confident in winning our case. She's always well prepared inside the courtroom and the Judge always seem to like her also, which is a plus. Once again I would recommend her to anyone who is fighting an Immigration Case. For those who has financial hardship like myself I was able to work out a payment plan with the firm. I will not hesitate to use her again.

I was told about Kamala while I was being detiained by Ice. I was a point where I was ready to give up on my case and ready to be deported back to my country. I had already hired an attorney and he advised there was nothing further to be done with my case and that I should sign my deportation. I had by brother call Kamala and speak with her about my case. What i liked about her was that she was brutally honest about my chances of winning my case. She advised me unless I had my criminal charge lowered to something much simpler or better yet dismissed the Judge would have me ordered deported and banned for life for the US. With her advise I hired a criminal attorney to reopen my case. They worked on my case together and with some luck my criminal case was reopened and dismissed based on some technicality defect in the plea bargain. This dismissal in my criminal case happened on a thursday and I was supposed to be in immigration hearing the following wednesday. Kamala and her team of private investigators and assistants worked around the clock in order the get everything ready in time for my court date. She called my brother on a saturday afternoon from her home, to ask him some questions about my criminal history. She worked on my case during that weekened and turned in the motion to terminate the immigration proceeding and the motion of the dismissal of my criminal charge. That wednesday morning I had court at 10:30 AM her office in Atlanta, GA was nearly 3 hours away. She came down in person to represent me and delivered her motion to terminate. It was such an impress presentation by Kamala after she was done the Judge went off the record to say " That was the best motion to terminate that I have ever heard." It was such a good presentation the government had nothing to say but only asked for sometime to review the motion and speak with her superiors. The judge stated she will allow the government a week to review the case do to the fact that the motion was submitted and recieved so close to the court date. I was trilled that I would be released the following week and Kamala was too. Later that day while i was in my unit in the detention center they tell me to pack my thing that I was leaving. I was confused because I was told that I would be going to court the following wednesday. Apparently later that afternoon the government decided that they reviewed my case and that they would accept the motion to terminate. I was released the same day I went to court, I was so excited and surprised. The only issue was that I was in Lumpkin, GA and I live in Cedar Rapids, IA. Kamala spoke with my brother advised him of my release and made arrangements to have her private investigator pick me up and drive me to Atlanta where they took me to a hotel and the next day drove me to the Airport. I honestly could not have asked for better counsel then Kamala Sessoms and her firm. She went above and beyond and I'm very thankful that I was able to have her represent me and win my case. If your looking for an attorney who is honest and hardworking Kamala Sessoms and her team are the best.
