About Ashley
Biography
Ashley Wine, born in Atlanta, Georgia, grew up across various U.S. cities before her family settled in Orlando, Florida. Her educational journey took her to The University of Mississippi (Ole Miss) on an Academic Excellence Scholarship. While at Ole Miss, Ashley embraced leadership roles, such as Vice-President of Alpha Omicron Pi, and excelled academically, consistently making Chancellor's and Dean's Honor Rolls. She was honored with membership in the Order of Omega, Omicron Delta, and Who's Who Among Students, graduating Cum Laude in May 2008.
Ashley furthered her legal education at Stetson University College of Law, where she joined the Florida Association of Women Lawyers, Phi Alpha Delta, and the Junior League of St. Petersburg. Graduating in May 2011 with a Certificate in Elder Law, she received accolades for her Pro Bono and Leadership efforts. Before leading Wine Family Law as Managing Partner, Ashley co-founded Hackett & Wine, LLC, working with prominent Orlando attorneys. Her extensive experience spans hundreds of domestic cases, dealing with complex issues such as high-asset divorces and custody modifications.

Replied last October 19, 2015This client had unfortunately put herself in an incredibly detrimental position in which she had already lost custody of both of her children before she retained the firm. Prior to being hired, the client met with the firm on multiple occasions and received hours of assistance and counseling. The attorneys did not fail to show up to the first hearing but rather had not been retained because the client had not paid the firm. The attorneys were eventually retained and agreed to take the case only because it was a referral from a trusted attorney. The attorneys assisted her in resolving both cases to the best of their ability based on the circumstances surrounding the matters that were created solely by the client’s actions. The client then came back and wanted the attorneys to file new Modification/Contempt actions in both cases while still operating under the first retainer, which had been depleted. When the attorneys refused to work for free the client threatened to take them to the bar and made this untrue and hurtful posting. It is very unfortunate when a person decides to take their frustration with their own lives out on the people that are trying to help them.
