also known as Jill Byers, Jill Ganser
Jill and Charla joined forces in 2018 and haven’t looked back. The first five years of Jill’s practice were spent practicing a variety of areas of law. During that time, Jill realized that she is most passionate about and has a personality that best suits the area of family law. As a result, she made the decision to devote her entire practice to family law beginning in 2013. Jill develops strategy in cases ranging from simple cases to complex cases involving multi-million dollar estates. She provides sound and meaningful advice to clients, drafts pleadings and settlement paperwork, negotiates settlements, and handles court appearances. Recognizing that most of her clients are going through one of the most difficult periods of their lives, Jill appreciates the importance of being readily accessible when her clients need her. While settlement minded, Jill understands some cases should be decided by the Judge or jury and is ready to win in Court when that is what is best for her client.
A native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Jill has called Georgia home for over twenty years. After graduating from Pope High School in Marietta, she graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Georgia. In 2008, Jill graduated from Georgia State University College of Law where she received honors in Litigation.
Jill is passionate about practicing family law because she enjoys working closely with her clients and providing customized solutions for unique and deeply personal problems which benefit the lives of her clients and their children for years to come. In addition to her years of experience helping families navigate life transitions as an attorney, experiencing the challenges and rewards of being part of a blended family provides Jill personal insight which she regularly draws upon while helping her clients.
Jill resides in Midtown, less than a mile from our office, and loves city life and driving as little as possible. When not helping clients, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Jonathan, and step-daughter, Chloe, exploring the city by foot and bicycle, and traveling.
