Ashley and her entire staff are better than amazing! Everyone on the Hackett & Wine staff knows their stuff and are seasoned exerts regarding family law! They are all very responsive to questions and concerns and take their time to explain each question or concern to client satisfaction. I was very hesitant to hire a lawyer, especially due to the situation I was in at the time, but knowing very little of the judicial system, I knew I had too. I have to say Ashley did more than I could have asked of her. I had been stressed beyond belief before coming across Ashley and the moment I decided to retain her she brought my stress level down tremendously. With a myriad of attorneys out there, it was difficult to find someone to trust. Every firm I interviewed spoke beautifully of what they could do for me, which I recognized as pure salesmanship. I knew I had to find someone via a strong referral. When a friend told me of Ashley Wine's no BS attitude,... who would call things as they are/would be, regardless of what I wanted...I knew I had the best firm in my corner. I would like to say thank you to Ashley and her law firm for helping me out through this very difficult situation that I’ve ever had in my life. After losing custody of my kids, the first time around, I consulted with Ashley and her law firm to discuss the next possible options. She immediately got s...tarted on my modification and started setting things in motion to prepare for another trial to get my kids back. My kids’ mother and her attorney made things extremely difficult for me and used the kids as pawns and also did everything they could to push my buttons, but Ashley and her firm provided me with great legal advice and countered everything that they did. The opposing counsel tried to do everything to get my case dismissed and displayed the most unethical behavior in a courtroom, they refused to provide discovery, they made it difficult for me to pick up my children, and accused me of everything under the sun to make it look like I was a bad person, but the Hackett and Wine Law Firm had great knowledge of the law and helped me present my case in court with full details. This process was not an easy one; it was long, lengthy, stressful, and very expensive, but Ashley worked with me on a payment plan so that I could continue to fight for my kids’ future. In the end, I received custody of both of my children, my ex also had to pay some of my attorney fees, and she now has to pay child support.
