Ms. Oxendine was not the lawyer who originally handled my case. My original lawyer was Janel Bowels, who was quite helpful and communicative for the first year and then my account was turned over to a variety of legal assistants whose interest, advice and professionalism were spotty at best. No one ...from Berry every told me that Ms. Bowels had left the firm, which I find unprofessional. However, it did open the door to working with Carrie who was a joy! She was honest, prompt with her replies and willing to listen to me when I was literally hanging by a thread of sanity trying to balance my budget, pay my TFS fees and handle other personal issues and a terrible experience I had for 5 years with my mortgage company.
