Carrie Lee Oxendine

Ms. Oxendine was not the lawyer who originally handled my case. My original lawyer was Janel Bowels, who was quite helpful and communicative for the first year and then my account was turned over to a variety of legal assistants whose interest, advice and professionalism were spotty at best. No one ...from Berry every told me that Ms. Bowels had left the firm, which I find unprofessional. However, it did open the door to working with Carrie who was a joy! She was honest, prompt with her replies and willing to listen to me when I was literally hanging by a thread of sanity trying to balance my budget, pay my TFS fees and handle other personal issues and a terrible experience I had for 5 years with my mortgage company. I felt that I could share my frustrations with her and get an honest reply in return. Additionally, under her leadership, the staff of your Legal Assistants seemed to improve as well. I would highly recommend her services.

I came to Carrie Oxendine with a complex, horrible bankruptcy. I had the unfortunate situation happen to myself and my husband and we had to file bankruptcy. This is the most embarrasing thing I have ever done. I worked with several individuals with Berry & Associates and felt very uncomfortable. I did not get calls back, never knew what was happening and... was actually afraid. The situation came up where I had to turn in my lease automobile and I went in and spoke with her and she was most helpful because it seemed we had done things a little backward. She made us feel comfortable and answered every email I sent her. Before I met her I felt as if the only way I was know is by a social security number stamped on my paper and lets get her in and out as soon as possible.. Never a call back from anyone and totally upset because I was afraid I would do something wrong and my case be dismissed.
