Shana Webb Pennywell

Hi, I hired Shana to represent me in my divorce against my abusive drug addict husband. Shana told me this would be a cut and dry case as we had no children and are only asset was his car I Co-signed on. From the beginning I hired Shana on a wim because my husband ran off with my now deceased dog tha...t was very sick. I paid thousands and thousands and was told I probably would not even go through my retainer. I was immediately awarded alimony and the car to be sold with 1/2 negative equity spilt( I agreed to this). I never received either. I wrote Shana constantly each month, until she basically told me I was spending more money to try and get the money I had awarded. After that, we had proof my husband was in contempt of court, drug records, everything! But Shana told me the wrong place to go and I missed court due to no one knowing where I should be. After that, Shana took pregnancy leave for almost one year. Then as she returned. The first time I’d heard anything about my divorce, alimony, anything! She only wanted to tell me she wanted excused from my case because her firm hired my husband’s attorney. This was after 1.5 years. Again, zero kids, no house, nothing. As of today I still don’t know where I stand with my divorce. I took a settlement offer for 3k after paying 20k to Shana, just to be done. I called as I took this offer in May, I’ve emailed every month since. Then yesterday I was told she no longer works for the firm. Stearn and Montgomery. She has not even finished my case. Now they are saying my case was closed. Shana ruined my entire life. I live in my car now. I had no family, and was being abused! I took every last dime I had and Shana told me I’d be fine. Now I pray everyday my husband would marry me back. As I can’t even see a doctor because he dropped me off our insurance when I filed for divorce. Please let others know what happened to me, so I can save them. I’ll send whatever proof you need.

Mrs. Shana Pennywells, she worked really hard on my case, she was very dependable, we won my case because with my situation she handled It very well. She is very professional, and she took being a lawyer very serious. Things that came up in my case she tackle them head on. she was alway available to ...talk to me about my case. During our consultation she was professional, detailed and knowledgeable about my type of case. She was delightful to speak with and seemed genuinely concerned about my upcomin...g proceedings. To be completely transparent, if I am unable to hire this firm, it's purely based on finances because Mrs. Pennywell was exceptional! Wow, talk about an HONEST attorney being a rare thing these days. I found my rare gem when I found Attorney Shana Pennywell . I usually don't give a 5 star rating for anyone, especially lawyers, but Shana Pennywell, is by far the most caring attorney I have ever met. I paid for the initial cons...ultation and she took her time explaining everything to me. She did not rush me out the door with my undecided mind. She answered every question even when my appointment time ran over. She looked things up for me regarding filings that I may have not known about. She took her time until her next appointment, which was well over an hour. I was amazed, ESPECIALLY after the initial consult, she still spoke with me over the phone, helping me to understand things when I remembered the questions I had forgotten to ask when I was there, and there was more than one phone call. She is a very caring and compassionate woman, I felt extremely lucky when I did a search for attorney's and found her. I had contacted other attorney's, but not one would talk to me even over the phone FIRST when i called until they received their consultation money. So I never saw or called those other lawyers back. This may be a long review but really needs to be out there. She is not all about the money, like lots of lawyer's are. To help me save money, she suggested I use another person in the office who was cheaper AND she would basically guide them for me. So essentially, she was still overviewing my case. I will employ her for every area she covers, should I need an attorney for other things. Never met another attorney who had a sincere heart like Shana . You will not be disappointed. She does not even have to say the word's, "I will fight for you", because after you leave the consultation, you will already know that she will.
